My OH used to have a Vanquis card, it was closed by them in January for non-use (he has prime cards now). Letter received in February said thanks for your custom etc, stated the account was now closed, nil balance etc. Today in the post he received a monthly statement(?), nil balance, credit limit 3k, available 3k. I can only assume the account is not fully closed. Statement includes a change of conditions leaflet, but what made me rofl is second page states 0% on cash and purchase interest. :rotfl: :rotfl:

it will be closed, they have migrated to a new systemDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -

I closed my old Vanquis account in March 2010, but wanted to re-apply to earn £40 via TopCashBack.

Well they shouldn't have.
I applied online and the system came up saying "Existing customer?" so I called them, they refused to process an application for me because of my old account that was run well and closed three and a half years ago.

I have just recently got my Vanquis card and I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to on their site, if I buy something and pay it off when I get my statement will I be charged any interest on this purchase?0

No. Assuming that you had also cleared the previous month's statement in full.
And also assuming that it is a true purchase and not treated as cash.0
