My first statement is due on May 20th - Is payment due that day or the standard 2 weeks from statement date?!

As with most other credit cards, payment is due about three weeks after the statement date.

IIRC ASL is a reformed bankrupt and is extremely cautious with his new toy. He also has a painfully low credit limit.

My first online statement just appeared. What I found strange was the estimated interest for next month was £0000
Maybe it's because I have used my limit by more than 2x but have made three payments off it over the first month. (never exceeded limit though)

Regardless of NO INTEREST even if I make the minimum payment, I have just paid it off IN FULL using online banking. :T.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Well the new aquis card arrived this morning. Limit was as they told me on the phone, and I got the good APR as well, in writing on my letter.

Not bad at all. Must admit that the card looks a bit weird, it's completely unbranded apart from a 'near invisible' dark blue star in the centre of the otherwise totally black card.

Still, quite cool and it's virtually prime level of interest so not going to complain too much. Quite a fast turnaround too, think it's been less than a week.
Debt free, moved, got new stuff for the new flat - got everything I wanted and need - now just saving.

ASL mentioned something similar a couple of pages back, see https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1482065:
I made a online payment yesterday to my vanquis card, its showing on my evanquis Electronic Payment Received and the ammount. But its not showing up in available funds.
Dunno if this is normal, but it's not unheard of.

Thanks - Was worried there was a problem with my payment or something but hopefully the site is just updating.

My interest rate on my vanquis card welcome letter of a couple of months ago, states. "Your annual purchase interest rate is 47.890%" I have seen in other threads that what vanquis show as the interest rate is NOT the APR.

So what is the above. Or is it the APR ?? Thanks.

It's exactly what it says it is; your purchase interest rate. Your APR will be higher, around the 59.9% mark.
