I wouldn't have said so - I applied on 27 November and didn't get the phone call until 21st December and the card only arrived this Monday 10th January. I'd put it down to a combination of lots of applications, bad weather and lots of bank holidays delaying things. Call them to find out where you are up to though usually you would get a phone call at home eventually

Odd Q- does anyone know what number Vanquis would call you on if accepted or wanted a 'chat' ?0

Has anyone actually breathing ever been turned down for a Vanquis card?"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

Usually needs a landline - my call was at home - luckily I was working from home that day!
I have heard that they call up to 9pm though. Its not a chat however - its a verification that its your landline and a hardsell of PPI and cash advance more than a chat!

I waited 7 months for my first increase - £250 up to £500. Hoping to get another after month 10 or 12 :whistle:0 -

You vanquis lot need to stop worrying about credit limit increase's and concentrate more on getting green zero's on your credit file, then hopefully applying for a better rate card.
Unless you have defaults on your credit file, a credit report can easily be made good within 12 months..0 -
I've never requested an increase on my Vanquis and its now upto £2500. It started at £250 then went up like thos £750, £1250, £2000. I dont pay in full each month but I almost always pay more than the minimum.
