I originally applied at the end of November - got the phone call on 22nd December but no sign of any card yet - any idea how long they take to actually arrive?!

    Thanks

I doubt there would be any card yet. That close to Christmas? with only 3 working days in between? I'd allow at least another two weeks to be honest - especially with all the post trouble that still seems to be going on.

I've got a DD set up to Vanquis for the full amount but no money appears to have been taken (payment due today....!) Has anyone else had any problems? Going to ring them later!
  • Direct debits aren't taken at weekends but on the next working day.

    Kind regards, MG

Thanks, I worried because last month it started to come out of my account four days earlier than necessary!
  • Recently accepted with Vanquis with a credit limit of £500, approaching 3 months now, always paid in full, do they send a letter to let you know if your credit limit is due to be increased or is it automatically shown online when you log in.

I believe, you need to explicitly request the increase which they may or may not approve. Also, AFAIK, time between increases is 4 months, not 3.

I've never requested an increase on my Vanquis and its now upto £2500. It started at £250 then went up like this £750, £1250, £2000. I dont pay in full each month but I almost always pay more than the minimum.

Vanquis appear to have failed to take the direct debit again this month. Going to have to call them to get it sorted, again. :-/
