Seems they are hesitant to move people up the tiers. They prefer u to be stuck where u began even though they will increase ur limits
  • To be perfectly honest people whatever interest rate you are on should be completely and utterly irrelevant IF you are using this card in the "correct" manner, I have a Granite card it could be 10000%APR for all I care Why? They will never get any interest out of me anyhow you should NEVER be leaving a balance on any of these kind of cards by doing so and especially a big balance your are beggin for trouble.............................

Thw wife asked me to get her an additional card on my Granite Card so I said she should apply for one herself, she got a Capital One Classic a few moonths ago and has paid on time every month so cant see it being a problem lol she may even get the 500 quid credit limit opposed to my 250 :( Never mind month 4 for me next month fingers crossed for an increase not a lot you can do with 250 quid lol, I pay it off in full every month by direct debit so 500 would be about right :)

Anyway she has applied got the usual 10-14 days so wait for a phone call now they seem to have been doing them quite quickly looking at this thread now, when I applied for Granite card the site had only been live a few days it was nearly 4 weeks before they called me!

Anyway stop sweating over APR's dont ever get to the stage where you have a balance on any of these cards that it is not the purpose of them.

    Peace Out :)

Ouch, how much is on the card? What's your interest like per month? Maybe they upped you as they saw you as a good money maker for them!:o

i think their was a ballance of about 230ish, i just keep forgetting to pay it off in full, i think they take about 10 quid a month of me on the direct debit, which probably doesnt make a dent.

i expect your correct that they see me as a good money maker,

I have seen on my statement today that they have upped my limit to £2000 now! Shame it's debt and not free money though....................
