My limit is still at £1250 after 16 months.

    What was your starting limit?

    Oooh, here's a new one.

My 3rd statement is due any day, I phoned up today for a balance only to find my limit has been increased to £500 already, happy days :j

I've been using roughly half of the available credit each month and paying it off in full by DD, seems that's the way to go. Mr P doesn't pay by DD, but still pays it off in full however his limit hasn't been increased yet :rotfl:

  • Well I've got to just over my 6th month and no increase what so ever, still at £250, I've never gone over the limit, paid the balance ocasionally, and the minimum a few times but never missed a payment, so have no idea why no increase :-(

Probably get it next month - they are a strange bunch with no consistency levels which inevitably makes it hard to second guess them..... I have a mate who is a manager at Vanquis and he told me the formats but for the life of me i've forgotten them but I did post on this thread if you want to scan from like page 10 or so.....!

I keep asking him to join here but he won't cos he actually likes working for them  (shock horror!)...... :D

  • Thank you NiD , I know you posted it on another vanquis link, so seen that one, that was why I was hoping on the actual 6 month (not the statement date) I might have got an increase. I think I'll wait (no choice really !!!) till my 7th statement and se what happens.

I applied today and got the no instant decision will be in touch in 10-14 days.

Since I also applied two months ago and they say you have to wait 6 months to reapply, will they reject my application?

I know I was turned down two months ago because I had a CIFAS in my credit file. It has been now removed, so I re-applied.
