I just rang them to see what was happening with my application (they called me yesterday, conversation was cut short after i couldnt supply a home tel nr - even though they had called on my mobile - which i missed, then contacted me on my work telephone nr) i have been advised that a letter has been sent out, but she couldnt confirm if i had been accepted or declined

My 8th statement today - still at £500! lol, i'll just close it down me thinks - not spent on it for like 4 months! :beer:

There you go. Thats why you will struggle. In this day and age you really should be on the e/r if you want credit. Its the main thing most lenders look for, i.e. stability.

I have been trying to register on the electrol register since febuary. Today I have sent the 4th electrol registration form to the council.

I got my 4th statement today and my credit limit went from 500 to 1000. Happy days.

I got my 8th statement - still showing as a paltry £500 but not bothered cos its sat in a drawer (in original envelope if I remember!).....

Just assumed they'd increase it, maybe I have to buy something (hmmmm, like what!)
