Hi Budd, well done for realising you have an addiction - that is a major step toward recovering from it. Your GP will give you lots of support I'm sure. As others have said, we will support you every step of the way.
When's your appointment with the GP?

I'm doing a bit better today. Went over and took Mum to the homeopath, and I saw her too. It was quite cathartic telling her all what's wrong with me! And it cheered me up seeing Mum and my sister.
And on the way home I stocked up on chocolate! So that should last me a few days! Yum!
    Hugs to all.

Katie I thought your post about the gas man was so sweet! I really love reading your messages.

  • Hi everyone, I'm here normally but I'm under a different name for now. My partner has left me and said he has never loved me in our 2 year relationship I am so gutted and hurt I don't know what to do. I've not ate since saturday I feel physically sick all the time :(

I'm so down right now I don't know how to cope anymore. He was my everything and he's treated me like this.

I hope your all doing well

Hang on in there sweetie. The emotional shock must be overwhelming and will be having physical effects on you but try to eat something - at least a cereal bar or something sweet and stodgy to give your blood sugar level a boost. This will help you feel physically a little better, and this will in turn help you cope with the emotional shock.

Obviously I don't know all the background but sometimes nasty things can be said in the heat of an argument which are then bitterly regretted but neither party knows how to put things right again. I'm rubbish at relationships and have been single for the past 13 years so am not best qualified for giving advice but please try to look after yourself.

Do PM if you want to offload but don't want to reveal more details on the thread.

YOU ARE NOT A BAD PERSON BECAUSE OF THIS. Life is unfair - the worst things happen to the nicest of people. It's horrible when it does but I'm sure that you can come through this and you will learn and become stronger for the experience.

    Big hugs xx
