I've just got off the phone from Orange, they could not do the Nokia 6500 for £8.50 a month.
Instead i'll be paying £9.78 a month. So 22p less than i pay already, as i pay £10 a month on PAYG.

Hi Judderman,
You say you were paying £10 pm on PAYG and you also got the above deal.
Were you on Orange PAYG and they gave you this Orange deal?
Please can you help?.0 -
Grimlea, as you work for Virgin mobile, do you know if I could apply online for the £10 a month sim only, 200 txts, 200mins (liberty sim is it?) but keep the number I have now? I'm interested in applying online as I would like to go through a cashback site.

As long as you create an online account with virgin b4 hand, which is linked to your number & log in before ordering u should b ok
i don't know much about cashback sites, do they work on non contract deals?0 -

Thanks, that's good to know. I have an online account already. Some cashback sites offer a lower amount for some SIM only deals I think, although I haven't checked that properly.0 -
Those of you who got the G600 and wish to unlock it here is how to do it.
Thanks to posters on hotdeals I got mine unlocked.
1-Turn on the phone without sim card .
2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .Saved any data you have as it will reboot to factory settings.
4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6-Enjoy G600 unlocked
Actually, check your splock status first(*#7465625#).if it
says "splock active" you must deactivate it with the extra steps below.
If the SP lock is still on after you have did the temporary unlock follow below-
add the codes below (don't power off)
reactivate network lock, *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#.
Deactivate the sp lock , *7465625*77*00000000*00000000#,
enter #7465625*77*00000000# (to disable the sp lock).
Then disable the network lock #7465625*638*00000000# and
the phone is finally unlocked permanently

Does anyone have details of the mobiles that Virgin are currently offering with this deal? I am trying to click through on their website by inputting my account number and it keeps returning a system error. I know I had a flyer with my bill recently, but I threw it away!“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0

Perservere with it, I had the same problem last month. Took a good few attempts to get through!0
