With Virgin's data tariff do you only pay the 30p for the days that you use it? e.g. if I use it 3 days in the month will I be charged 90p for the month? Anyone know if there's international data coverage?
Also, are international texts charged at the same rate as UK texts?
Finally, can you get a SIM only deal with this?

Couldn't find the FAQ or the answers to my questions on the Virgin site - that's why I asked here. I've emailed them but don't know how good they are at responding (6 hours now with no reply)

if you are texting to a phone in another country it would be 20p

Ordered this on Saturday, said that it'd be delivered today....which i thought was a bit too good to be true. Well its 5.30pm and nothing shown up so i presume that i'm not getting it today.

Orders made on sat can easily be delivered on monday (even orders made on sunday can be delivered on Monday), if it hasn't arrived by now i would call virgin on 0845 6000 789 to check status.

can you get a SIM only deal with this?

they do a liberty sim at virgin £10 for 200mins & 200 text with no tie in, which is only £2.50 more a month. So if your phone is still good then this deal is better.

T Mobile is fine where I live & surrounding areas. We have been on a number of networks in the past & found this alot better than orange (although that was a few years ago)

How interesting! I have been a Virgin mobile customer for years, originally PAYG then had the £10 a month for 300 minutes and 300 texts (never managed to use them all...) as I am a broadband customer. then my phone died so I switched to a contract for a year which again was £10 a month but included a free phone and was the 100 mins/100 texts. The contract is up in April and for the last fortnight tghey have been phoning me every other day to tell me I can actually choose my new phone now as a special deal and that on renewal my contract will be going up in April to £12 per month.

I think I might not renew but transfer to the £8.50 option....
