Evening all

Soappie - could you not rig buster up to 'watch the tumbler dryer' then when she turns it on phone from work and say you're not using the tumble dryer are you? I am joking but it would be fun. Or you could 'arrange' for a powercut as you leave the house each day'.

Pastries are cooling and washing spinning so I'll be heading to bed in about 15 minutes.

ooooo Mr Sh has just gone out to get me cheeseburger and fries :drool: :drool: ..... yum yum yum yum I love the burger and fries from this shop.... I think I may grow an extra belly just for them!!! :rotfl:

Dusty - that's a brilliant bit of lateral thinking! I could sign up some of you flyladies to do the watching for me during the day as I can't access the outside internet world anymore from work (all is now locked down to preserve the safety of the nation etc. etc.)

Thank you honey. He's very pleased.... or he was till the doc told him he should give up drinking.... "it's no good, it doesn't achieve anything" :eek: Give up drinking..... nightmare!

Soappie - just had a lovely moment. Went on facebook and I have my second cousin as a friend (not seen her for years) she has posted a couple of old family photos of her parents, my great aunt and uncle who passed away a while ago now. I hope we can get together in the spring and maybe look through some photos and see if she knows/remembers things that I don't. She is related through the day family line.

Soappie,not a nice position to be in but I agree with everyone else on here,you are in the right,the price things are we all have to learn to cut back or at least be sensible, I have 5 children and only use my TD in exceptional circumstances,I have a dishwasher that I havent used for about 4 months ,the cost is just too prohibitive now.

Sexymouse that was a lovely gesture,Im sure LL will really appreciate that,will be nice for her to know we are all thinking of her even when she isnt posting.:o

been to watch DS's GF in school play - most gratified to see that many (well most) of the performers were from their junior school - although the performing genes in my family went elsewhere...
Gosh out for dinner at theirs tomorrow...more :eek: s needed
