I am just wondering if any one has downloaded this and is it any good as
it states that
Windows 7 is faster, more reliable, and makes it easier to do what you want
Did they not say this about vista
I am not that advance with computer's so will not tried to download it .
More money for Bill Gates

ok a : is a free download to test . b: as it goes most people say ot rocks c: it is timelocked till august where you will be locked out and i belive will not be able to use the part of the harddrive with out a format etc .
I 've used like it but do have the sort of penny's that ms will be asking for it0 -
Downloaded but not installed yet. It's not ideal for use as a replacement OS on a sole home PC for the reasons that devizes gives - but if you've got a spare PC knocking about, ideal for a bit of a play around.0

Yep, I have it, and we're evaluating it at work, It really DOES kick vista into the middle of next week...we've yet to find any issues with it, and it's a HELL of a lot faster than Vista on the same hardware...hardware support seems better, and it's nice to use.
I think I agree with Microsoft for once - "if you have XP, don't go to Vista, wait for Windows 7". I think we will. Shame the Beta expires in august..I'm contemplating putting it on my main work PC..:)
It really is lightyears ahead of Vista.0 -

It maybe wishful thinking, but is there any hope they might give us a rebate on an upgrade just for trying it out for them or is that in the realms of fantasy.Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. Peer at your baby's eyes for them to reflect back just people-throw away your flags and religious symbols...0

Much much better than Vista here. But this is on a dual boot with Linux, so I can afford to experiment.;)Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

it's scary that the beta of windows 7 runs better and faster than the full commercial release of vista.0
