So I was checking SW site for syns on the 'celebration' chocs with no luck. I didn't eat any in the end and going by what I'm saying I probably could have done and still been in my allowance/syns for the day.

LilacLillie, Quality Street and Roses are 2 syns each so Celebrations might be the same?0 -
Celebrations are 2 syns each
They were in one of the magazines, I think it was the Christmas issue

Hi, just found this thread and looking for advice.
I would like to loose about 4 stone and don't know what to do.
I joined SW after last pregnancy but did not enjoy the class or like the leader but diet was fine.
I dropped by the waysid, put weight back on and now I want to change for life.
What is the best diet to follow to fit in with working, looking after 3 kids and running a business?
My biggest downfall is a sweet tooth in the evening and evening eating.
I did like SW but don't want to have to join a class again so not sure how to get hold of a copy of the diet, alternatively can anyone suggest a really good weight loss plan.
I know classes work best but my work and childcare patterns are erratic so thought I would just post weekly weight loss on this board or something to keep me motivated.
I'm going to a ball at the end of may and would love to loose a stone and a half before then.
Sorry for long post and any help gratefully received.0 -
Hi Bobsa - and Welcome to to lose weight thread!
There are a few of us following SW on here so if that's what you decide there are plenty around to help. There are also others following WW, so likewise with the help front. There are other people following low carb, tesco e-diets etc. If you don't want to join a class you can do what some of the others on here do and that is to register online. The SW password is posted weekly on here so you don't have to go to class and/or be a member to register there. (this weeks password is onion) As far as I Know, WW also have a website so you may get advice there - i'm sure one of the WW crowd will be along soon to advise....
In the meantime, set yourseld realistic and achievable targets eg - to lose 2lb by next week, 2lb the following week etc.... That way your motivation will stay with you and you won't be put off by difficult targets. Post on here if you are having the muchies in the evening, someone will be around to talk you out of it.
Good luck! Make sure you pop back on to let us know how you are getting on!0 -
Does anyone know where Katia is
She hasn't posted for a while. Hope she is ok, maybe she has lost so much weight that she has slipped out without us noticing

hi
Im on weight watchers there are two diets you can go on no count which is like slimmimg world and the point one i am on the point one because the points you get are tailored for you eg so many for age so many for your weight etc and so you know exactly what you can eat sometimes when i fancy chocolate i save enough for a bar and you can easily do that i have got the scales which help in points because you weigh your food type in what it is then they tell you the points if you want to know anything about ww i have all the books which tells you how many points is what
If you didnt want to go to class there is a ww online you could join or just join a class to get the books but i could always tell you the points for things
Anyway have a think and get back to me if you want to try the ww plan

4.5lbs loss this week :j
Really chuffed as this puts me a pound off my first stone. I'm off work this week to do some homework so hopefully eating will be even more convenient (more importantly i'll be able to stay in bed for an extra couple of hours every day!).
Good luck to everyone this week.0
