Can someone tell me if Quorn products are free food on both green & red days please.
When I used to go, they didn't allow it on both days, but reading on the website just now, it looks like you can now have them both days. I haven't even worked out the days where you can mix & match yet!
It doesn't seem very user friendly to me. Maybe I'm not reading it right.

Oh dear I've only lost 1lb these past 2 weeks. Still I have had a hectic social life which is really unusual for me. The nurse was pleased with me today because I hadn't put any on and my physio said I can start using my exercise strider again but only for 2 mins!! I want to be on there for an hour. I'm still not allowed to iron or hoover etc or spend much time on the computer which if I was being lazy and it was my choice would be ok but because it's not my choice I can't enjoy it and just feel frustrated.
Anyone know this weeks password for Slimmimg World?
I'm off to Liverpool tonight to visit the Uni with my daughter tomorrow. I've planned tomorrow nights tea - Spag & pesto quick and easy as I'll be tired. I hope I'll be able to find a good place to eat for lunch & able to stick to a SW green day.
Strawberries are cheaper in Tesco at the moment 99p I've got 4 punnets very nice not at all naughty. Pineapples are 2 for 2.50. I love pineapple, on it's own, in a fruit salad or with cheese or throw it in a curry yummy yummy or in a SW quiche with a bit of ham.
Bye for now.0 -

Hi lilaclillie,
ive looked on the slimming world web site fro you regarding quorn and i found this.
Quorn Chunks or Minced
Quorn is fungi based, its main ingredient being a mycoprotein. It is considered a good alternative to meat, having a lower fat content and higher fibre content to its meat equivalent. Quorn is also cholesterol free. It can be used as a meat replacement in virtually any dish – Bolognese, curry, chilli con carne – and certainly benefits from being cooked in a strongly flavoured sauce. Quorn is also available in rashers, slices, fillets and a variety of ready meals all of which should be checked for Syns . Quorn is a good source of protein and niacin and a source of vitamin B2.

Thanks Clarabell- makes me feel better... However clothes are a lot tighter and legs look like surface of the moon with a few lumps of lard thrown in for good measure (I'm not joking!) so has to be done.
Well done on losing 4lbs in a week, how did you do that ??0 -

dihunny ive found this for you not sure how much it will help you tho
Scan Bran is Slimming World's abbreviation for the high fibre Bran Crispbread by G G Scandinavian, which is available to buy from your group Consultant, also from all good health food shops, such as Holland & Barrett.
most towns i think have holland & barrats these days i think, also isnt ryvita a high fibre crisp bread also ?£2 coin savers club = £118
20p saver club = £275.80 :T yippeeeee0 -
You can have a certain amount of ryvitas as a B choice healthy extra that's for sure, but interestingly the site reckons it's either 2 or 4 which is silly. Will have to see what my book says.
That's the second mistake i've noticed on the website (the first was a recipe for parsnip and horseradish sauce soup which they reckon is syn free but isn't because of the horseradish sauce!0 -
Hi Loopylass,
Thanks for your reply.
There's ar ecipe on sw website that includes both ryvita and scan bran(I think)for Ferraro Rocher(1 sin each)
We have a holland and barrett near us so I'll pop in there.
Thank you again :T0
