Sue, NO, don't do the comfort food thing. So sorry you didn't get the job but don't let that affect your eating habits. Stay with it, stay focused.
Honey, I like this one for about 7 syns
Put 1/4 tin mixed beans in tom sauce and some pineapple inside a wrap, roll it up, cover with pasta sauce (I found one for about 1/2 syn - I think it's the asda/tesco value one) sprinkle with 42g mozzarella (healthy A on green) and put in over gas 6 ish for 15 minutes. Serve on a bed of riceI haven't got one!0 -
Aw sue that sucks. Hope you're ok.
Fill up on some healthy stuff then have something small and chocolately afterwards. Watch some fun crap tv. Don't let it get you down too much.0 -
Hi all, I hope you can help me, I've decided to lose a bit of weight as I'm feeling a bit dowdy after havin 4 kids and fast approaching the big 30 as well !
I'm 5'4 and about 11 stone. I'd like to get to about 9.5 stone - does this sound realistic? I have joined the gym which is good if I can get into a routine of going and I would like to know whether I should join ww or sw. My mum goes (not in my area tho as she lives the other end of the country). She has alot of weight to lose and I realise I dont have to lose that much really so would I be wasting their time? I'd be grateful for your advice.
Thanks
Sam

Sue - That's a shame but the interview was valuable experience. Indulge yourself tonight with a small treat and feel sorry for them for not recruiting you - their loss
Sam - welcome - there are WW's and SW's on here ( and others) so whatever you choose, you'll be in good companyI think it's just personal preference - which would be easier for you to travel to? Check out the a websites to compare them and that might help.

Hi Sam,
I am 5'4" an started at 11st 3lbs on Jan 10th. I am now approaching the 9 1/2 stone mark so yes it is realistic. I am doing the SW plan with walking as my only exercise. Going tot eh gym will build your muscles and muscle weighs more than fat. You'd be better slimming first then toning in my opinion.
I'm off to France (booze cruise) first thing tomorrow so won't be around for a few days. Good luck to all for weigh ins this week and I hope not to eat too many croissants whilst away.
Take care all, I might post later but if not, ciao for now...I haven't got one!0 -
