Lose weight 5

I've had a nice day today, but feel very bloated, so have probably overdone it. First time in 2 wks though.
Both my son's didn't buy me chocolates (told them not to), but I cooked a roast lunch for us all (5).
I got lost with what day suited me best, red or green?
For (late) breakfast 'Oats so simple', then (4.30pm) leg of lamb, 3 small roast potatos, cabbage, 1 yorkshire pud, roasted veg and gravy.
About 1hr later rice pudding in the sc. Quick look at it written down says a bad green day to me, what do you all think???
Oh..................and a glass of low alcohol wine.
Won't have anything else today because I feel so stuffed!!!!

Elaine ive lost 1 stone in 4 weeks, not brave enough to tell you all my exact weight tho, but i will tell you that ive got about 5 stone to loose
I have around that much to lose as well.I have just started the weightwatchers no count plan and i am very impressed with it so far, as i havent felt deprived like i have on other diets. I have also thrown out my scales as i dont want to jump on them every day and willl only know my weight on wednesday evenings.I am trying not to get too excited but if i lose weight this week i will feel like i have found the perfect diet. And believe me i have tried them all.I will post again wednesday evening to let you know how i get on in my first weigh in.“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. hi guys,
been reading your posts and am really very encouraged by all of youHope it's ok but I'd like to join in starting tomorrow. This whole weight thing has gotten out of hand and I reckon I've regained about 5 of the 8 stones I had lost in the past. All my clothes that were too big are getting snug and my behind needs a wide load sign on it
My intention is:-
1. Use my workout dvd at least every other day
2. Think about everything that goes in my mouth BEFORE it goes in, rather than blindly shovelling things in!!
3. Listen to the paul mckenna cd i bought
4. start keeping a journal again
5. look at the reasons behind my weight issues and see if they can't be resolved from within
Good luck with the new week everyone☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

That's better..........lost 3 pound this week!
Going to aim for 2 pounds next week to make it half a stone in a month. Still trying for a first target of 1 1/2 stone by 7 May when we go to Spain, might be a bit ambitious after losing nothing last week, but I'll see how close I can get!"Stay Wonky":D

Welcome along Ethel, you've taken the right steps so now promise yourself that you'll stick to them - GOOD LUCK
Keren well done on your 3lbs, keep going girlI haven't got one!0 -
After a week of salads and homemade veggie soup, yesterdays blow out must have undone all my good work.
Weighed in this morning and have stayed the same.
Dissappointed, but still not giving in, my motivation is surprising me.
I think this week calls for going in that deep dark place I have been avoiding in the spare room......................................GYM!
Exercise it is then. God I hate exercise.................

LL - Hope you enjoyed the weekend of eating debauchery! I'm not a fan of exercise either.
It took many years of wasted gym memberships to realise I particularly loathe the gym. I've looked back on the sports I used to enjoy in school and have made efforts to take them up again.
Unfortunately playing basketball as an adult almost killed me (not literally but geez, i sure felt like I was dying!) and cycling is nearly as bad with the saddle and the hills (though that will get better the more I do it and hopefully there’ll be some bike rides this summer). The one I have working at the moment is swimming. Once I got over the initial ‘I look like a 5’3” whale’ I’ve really enjoyed it. I may try an aqaufit class next week – being in water again after 8 years or so is great even if I have sort of forgotten how to breathe during the front crawl! I’m also doing the aerobics at the Rosemary Conley class each week which is low impact and I can more or less keep up with.
I don’t think I’m necessarily doing enough exercise to improve my weight loss but I’m following the advice of everyone and just doing a little bit of exercise as often as I can and knowing that I’m making the effort is a good feeling.
LL – don’t use the gym if hate it – is there anything else that you can do instead?0 -
Welcome Along Ethel -What weight loss plan (if any) are you following. I think there is a mix of SW and WW amongst others on here so you should find someone following the same as you!
Keren - Well Done thats great! Keep it up!
LL - why don't you weigh yourself tomorrow - let yesterdays chocs "settle" and see what happens.
Cheekymole - any new SW recipes or ideas? I'm starting to get bored with the meals i'm doing!0 -
Poo pants.
I got a letter today. I didn't get the job.
I want chocolate, and pizza, and raw cake mix, and chocolate refridgerator cake from M&S, and chocolate covered popcorn, and lots and lots of ready salted crisps.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0
