Hello to all the new people (says me who's only been on here a week!)

Keren - think how you would feel if you succumbed ..................and think what a boost to your esteem it will be when you don't! Can't someone put them in the fridge for you - you want to make sure they keep fresh for everyone, right ;)

I agree with katia - stolen foods are never as nice as you think they will be because of the guilt trip. Anyway, suede boots that fit are better than cakes that get in the way of achieving your goal.;)
  • Read all your posts ... and going to try again with SW.

been shopping at lunch time and bought lots of fresh veg and fruit.

So having a small steak tonight (done in George Foreman) together with lots of roasted veg and SW chips.

Going to stay off the scales at home too and only weigh once a week ... when I would have done with the class. And also going to try some excercise, even just walking.

    Thank you all

Positive thoughts only as from today

keren29, if the cakes are hanging around.................you could always let one go stale and leave it on your desk. It'll look so disgusting that when the fresh ones come in, you'll feel sick at the thought of one!!
Well done for not eating them today.

Morning All, Well I did it. Yesterday I stuck to my diet all day, feel like I need to congratulate myself, as so many of my diets fail half way through the first day!! I think having actually joined a weight watchers class and knowing that they will weigh me next week helps.

My Mum is not working today, so we have planned to go on a really long walk, which should help shift a bit more weight. She is really fit though, so will have to get her to wait for me whilst I get over cramps / get out of breath etc.!!

Lost 3lbs according to the scales last night! Got slimmer of the week and have reached first half stone loss (been on the diet for 3 weeks so that's quite reasonable)!

It's really good going to class knowing that i have stuck to the diet all week and that because of that i've more than likely lost something - less fear of the scales!

This week included a meal out with the boyf but we chose wagamama and had a noodle/veg dish which was really good and filling. I was worried that it would have all been cooked in a lot of fat so i kept off the syns for a couple of days to compensate.

Hope everyone else is having as good a week!

Flis: well done on your first day. Keep it up!

Well done Keren. It is good that you were able to log on here while at work. Keep thinking about those boots!

And well done to you flis21, have a lovely walk today, I hope the weather stays good for you.

    I have some good news, I have a job interview on Monday. :j :j :j :j

The job was advertised in the paper yesterday, it said to ring, so I did, and they asked me to send them my CV, so I emailed it to them, and they rang and asked me to come to an interview. The last couple of jobs I applied for I didn't even get an interview  I am looking for a part-time admin job, but I haven't worked for 5 years, so I haven't got any recent admin experience. I know if I don't get the job, I will feel really down again, so I had better take advantage of feeling this good over the weekend, and stick to the SW plan. Last night for dinner I had mashed potato cooked with leeks and cheese, with baked beans. yummy.
