They won't supply you with the Egg records, you'll hae to write to Egg for that.

Apparently Barclaycard also destroy statements from more than 6 years ago fro cards.

Sorry think I haven't made myself clear, the old Egg which is now barclaycard is still active and they sent me from 2006- present I am missing 2000- 2005.

And that what I thought about Barclaycard old accounts ( gold & Platinum ) but what I am saying is if they looked into my PPI claim with them and said they felt that I was not mis sold they should have something or they would say they have destroyed all records ?

    Thanks again

Yes, you will have to write to Egg for those. Luckily in most cases, becasue they are more likely to have kept the records.
Write to the ICO telling them you don't believe that all the records have been given to you. It's easy enough to complain, and you can do it by e-mail and attach all correspondence to the e-mail.

I wonder if you can help. My mother has been writing cheques and we don't know who the recipients are. Can I get this information by completing the SAR letter?

Maybe...it should be on her statements. Why doesn't she ask her bank?

taff - it doesn't say on bank statements who the cheques were made payable to. She hasn't been filling in her cheque book stubbs. I'm wondering if a SARS letter would include information on cheques issued by mum.
