Ask for it to be posted to you from the branch they send it to, if you live near the branch then it may be quicker to go in and get it.
They usually post them out so this is a new one on me.

I just find it irksome because the branch is near but I'd have to take time off work to get there while they're open.

They can send me everything on discs if they're trying to avoid postage costs - I'll ask.

They won't send it by disk, they'll send paper copies.
You can ask them to send ti to you, but it depends on how much info there is, I got mine through the post and it was a chunky old thing.

    Hi,

    I have a quick question.

I have just done an SAR and the bank have said they can only send the info to a branch and I have to go and collect it.

    - It's Lloyds. I no longer bank with them and want it posted to my house. Are they able to make this demand? (I have paid the £10 admin. fee)

This would be another example of Lloyds trying to delay things, remember they did get fined 4.3 million, just be persistant

How do you go about sending this letter with regards to a Mortgage Account? and how far back will the bank give me records for as the mortgage was 10 years ago.

If the Mortgage is still running, they will give all the info they hold on you, if it was paid off 10 years ago, they won't have this info any more.
Some MPPI is not reclaimable, you need to post on the PPI reclaim board to see if yours is.

It should be if they hold any info for this, if they don't, I am afraid it will not unless you have any info regarding this Mortgage.

Thanks for this. Am using this as the template for my letter to my bank requesting historic info.
