To the address we already provided (now four times!) in the other thread!:p

Here it is for a fifth time:
    Send to
    Copy Statement Unit
    Lloyds TSB plc
    Swallow House
    10 Swallow Street
    Birmingham
    B1 2AL

Sorry for my ignorance but which thread would this be? I have to send one to Amazon and Welcome Finance for a credit card and a loan.

I was referring to the "other thread" to which that that particular user had been posting on the particular day!
The lender address thread is a "sticky" just below this one on the forum.

Ah ok, I should really have a browse about before asking such silly questions. :D

What happens if you dont have the full account number? In my credit report it only lists the last 4 numbers.

Hi - Newbie here (not posted for ages) *waves

Is the template SAR letter shown here suitable for a settled loan (5 years duration) of 4/5 years ago - my original paperwork was destroyed in a flood & I cannot say with absolute certainty we paid PPI - although pretty sure we did. I recently wrote to Egg Loans for statements/information, and the reply I got was (& I quote):

Thank you for your recent request for an executed copy of the credit agreement for account no ***** with Egg Banking plc under section 77 (1) of the CC Act 1974.

As the account you refer to is now closed I have to inform you that Egg are under no obligation to comply with q request for a copy of the executed agreement under the CC Act as we no longer have a contractual relationship relating to this account, nor are we seeking to enforce any agreement on the account.

The right to be provided with this information from Egg Banking plc ended with the closure of the account.

Section 77 (3) (a) of the CC Act states that section 77 (1) does not apply where 'no sum is, or will or may become payable by the debtor'. The right to request an executed copy of an agreement is found in Part VI of the Act, which is entitled 'Matters arising during currency of credit hire agreements' ; so where an agreement is no longer current, the right to request or be provided with a copy of the excuted agreement therefore ceases.

We wrote asking for statements of all payments, which they said they would forward !!!

Can anyone shed any light on what I can do next?

    Many thanks in advance ...
    *Helen*
