Exactly what were you expecting? If you want stuff from twenty years ago, then I think you'll continue to be disappointed.
As I've said, I'm sure I could have just got the two loans from my bank without paying £10, I was just under the impression that a sar request was for any data they kept on file for you, is this not correct?
Can someone who has done a sar request tell me what they received from their bank?0 -
I was expecting my credit card stuff at least, I'm sure I paid ppi on that and they were only closed a couple of years ago.

As I said, anything more than six years old is a bonus, not a right.
EDIT
If you've sent a properly constructed SAR letter, asking for everything they have on file for you then complain straight away that they haven't sent what you requested. Instruct them they have 14 days to comply fully with your request or you'll report them to The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

As I said I used the template on the front of this thread and requested everything they had on me, would you suggest I just wrote to the same place I sent the original sar request?I'm abut annoyed that I had. O correspondence from them at all and all I received was copies of two loan agreement from my local bank with a note inside saying here are the loan forms you requested0

I requested for SAR at the begining of March. HFC have returned the letter and cheque, they are stating they cannot process my request without copy of my passport or driving licence once they have this they will have 40 days to respond. I thinl this is a delaying tactic from HFC:mad:
has this happend to anyone else and what should i do?0 -

It's now been a week since I received two copies of loan agreements that I had through Lloyds Tsb in response to my sar request letter, received nothing else and they have cashed the £10 cheque.
I have banked with them for over twenty years so surely they should be sending me more information than that? I could have for these loan agreement free couldn't I?
What's the best for m of action now? Do the Lloyds Tsb sar team have a telephone number as I can't find one

I paid 2x £10 they asked for a joint account, and a week later recieved from a different address (does'nt even mention SAR)what looks like a bank statement 2 x cpoies each as it's a joint account)from a loan that finished last year which includes the ppi,but not a breakdown. The one they sent me, is for a statement on a loan i'm paying now.I don't know if this is a coincidence but is this right do you think,I'm going to phone later, as i know we've had more loans than that in the time we have banked with them.I wanted to make sure that ppi was added to the loans before i sent the questionaire in,even though i have account numbers from old statements online,or should i just go for it,there's one definate front loaded loan.Hope i have made myself clear, yes I'm confused.com tooDebt free forever :-)0

Hi there
If you don't think they included everything they should have, then yes contact them.
However, anyone longer than 6 years they may not longer hold, but in my experience via Lloyds they held my data going back into so many years from the 90's, so worth checking out. (It may vary from one bank to the other).
They may even send further information in a separate package, this have happened with me.
Ring them though just to make sure.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
