Halifax reward account online now, and the old accounts....

went into a local halifax branch and was told the maximum reward bank account each person is able to open is now only 2, has anyone else recently managed to open 3??

shouldn't a huge problem if you allow enough space between the 2 standing orders.

my 3 accounts were opened last week and i started flirting £1000 through them friday and over the w/e, then just in case back around again this week.
however £5 reward appeared in a/c no1 earlier this week, yet no sign of the others.
do you think due to bank holiday/weekend/end of month, i'll have to wait until beginning of june for the other 2 £5's?
that won't be too bad, on the other hand i'm worried they've closed the loophole:eek:

The £5 for May will be paid for £1000 being credited to the account during April, so if it was only over the weekend that you did it, then you wouldn't expect to get the £5 until June.

I opened first account last month and tried to open two more on line this week. Second one opened fine, the third was declined - message on screen said I'd be sent a letter in the next 7 days explaining why. So, it seems that perhaps two is the maximum number of accounts now.

I opened the accounts for dad online and chanced it with the 3rd account, got the post today to say all 3 had been accepted. :j:j. might try and see if Bank of Scotland will let us open 3 more. :D

Ive opened 3, one a month since it started! Opened the last one about 2-3 weeks ago with no problems. Instantly opened.

Yes, wait a couple of days and it'll show up as Reward.
