Anyone know what this means?
Try the call back route, they will put you through, I use it every time.

okay question to confirm something
say I have current account with natwest and I open the reward account with halifax
in order to get the reward I set up a standing order of £1000 from natwest to halifax on the say 10th every month
then set up a standing of £1000 from halifax back to natwest on the 11th every month
will that give me the £5 bonus? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yes that will work fine. I would advise that you keep a small balance of at least £1 in the Halifax Reward Account though.0 -

i think they will stop offering this reward as a lot of people try to grab free cashThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

No ..... it will give you a problem. SOs don't work at weekends / Bank Holidays. So when the 10th / 11th fall around / into a weekend you could finish trying to transfer money out of Halifax - that hasn't yet arrived!
You either have to do the transfers manually ('bill payment' which is akin to a SO ... but you have to initiate each one) or give more distance between the SOs?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -

Only if the 'in' is via FP.
It won't even work over a normal weekend (where the 'in' date is the Sat) otherwise? The 'out' would be Tuesday ..... but the 'in' (leaving early hours of Mon) wouldn't arrive until at least Wednesday. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
