The reward payment comes in at the beginning of the following month - so no one will have it yet

No £5's in mine yet, they've been too busy reducing the interest rate of their Web Saver Reward (July 08 one) to 1.80%.

As the websaver reward pays a fixed rate, how can the rate of an already opn account be reduced?

    3 different Web Saver Rewards.

    One was BofE+ 0.8% for a year.

    Mine is 5% fixed :rotfl:

Different Web Saver Reward. The one I referred to was opened in July 08 (as mentioned in my post) and is variable with a 12 month bonus. There's another Web Saver Reward (Nov 08), which is fixed at 5% for 12 months (as long as no more than 4 withdrawals are made in the 12 months). Not to be confused with their 1 Year Fixed Rate Web Saver (also Nov 08) of 6.50%.

... or the Guaranteed Saver Reward or Reward current account, even. (Wasn't there also a "saver reward"?)

They do like to confuse the hell out of people with similar-sounding accounts, don't they?

I can't find it anywhere in their T&C's or on their website, but other posters have said that the £5 reward will be credited on the 1st working day of the next month ie 2 March, (as long as there has been a balance of £1,000 during the previous month).

All I read was "the reward will be paid the following month", which I took to be the end of the month - so if you fund it in Feb, reward would be added at the end of March. I may be wrong. All you can do is wait and see. It'll come.

If you pay in £1,000 or more during any month you will receive one reward payment the following month

Interesting point. You mentioned a balance of £1000, the T&Cs say "if you pay in more than £1000 during any month". So, if i paid in then withdrew 4 x £250 I'd have credits totalling £1000 although the maximum balance would have only been £250.
I'm assuming their system totals the credits into the acount to see if these are greater than £1000.

(Phase 2 of plan is being formulated)

To be pedantic .... I think they will roll up the monthly credits and check they are equal to / or greater than £1000. As yours do .... there should be a net £5 credit tomorrow.
