In my, and another poster's, experience it's certainly possible in branch.0 -
Already got one of those....my beautiful wife....although she doesn't know it yet, haha!!!
Anyone got experience of setting up multiple automatic transfers like this???
I wonder how long it'll be before Halifax twig!!!!;)0 -
I've got a halifax CC and a small savings account. should I apply online (if so do i apply as an existing customer??) or in branch. I read online I could get £30 vouhcers for just an investment review and not need to go ahead, is this true??
I've just applied and it said the account was open, but we need to do further checks, er??0 -
i've only just seen this thread, and have applied for 3 reward current accounts. i love this site!0

Yes, you can only have 3 reward accounts per person. So you could get up to 6 if you combined forces with your partner.
As I interpret Special Condition b), you can only have a total of 3 Reward accounts, whether joint ones or in your sole name, so nobody can have 6 of them:-
b) Up to two account holders on an “either to
sign” basis only. You can hold a total of three
Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Accounts
and Halifax Reward Current Accounts. For
example, one joint Halifax Ultimate Reward
Current Account and two sole Halifax
Reward Current Accounts.
This condition includes a joint account and two sole-name accounts in the three that you are allowed, so I don't see how anybody could get six Reward accounts.0 -

..I set up a transfer from accounts 1-->6 on consecutive days that would be say 7 days. If I repeated this patterns 4 times, this this by definition would mean that I had paid in £1000 to each of the accounts in a month (i.e. 4x7 = 28 days), and I qualify for £30 per month??
Is there a folly in my plan somewhere?
Unless you want to do it manually (!) ..then you have to utilise SOs? Which would normally be the 'folly' .... as SOs don't move on non-Bank days.
However - as this is Halifax - the SOs are categorised as internal transfers. And they will move on non-Bank days ..... so it would work (despite being a bit tight in February!).
Personally I'd push the boat out, and just move £1k around the circle just the once!If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
