Halifax reward account online now, and the old accounts....

3 each in sole names.....As I interpret Special Condition b), you can only have a total of 3 Reward accounts, whether joint ones or in your sole name, so nobody can have 6 of them:-
b) Up to two account holders on an “either to
sign” basis only. You can hold a total of three
Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Accounts
and Halifax Reward Current Accounts. For
example, one joint Halifax Ultimate Reward
Current Account and two sole Halifax
Reward Current Accounts.
This condition includes a joint account and two sole-name accounts in the three that you are allowed, so I don't see how anybody could get six Reward accounts.
That condition only says 'for example'...
I'll only manage 5 though as OH and I already have a joint account. Damn!Kavanne
Nuns! Nuns! Reverse!

I opened 1 new account (already have CA, HICA and BOS CA) and will open the other two in the next day or two.scrounger
did you open 1 or 3 accounts??
and if it means further checks does anyone know if the accounts will be closed? Can I pay £1000 in the account tomorrow if so is that when the £5 gets paid in?
AFAIK, the £5 will be paid early next month.

The T&Cs only mention Halifax accounts. Bank of Scotland do a Reward account (can't find their T&Cs though), so it might be possible to get six accounts per person, if you can have three Halifax Reward accounts and three BOS Reward accounts.0

It's based loosely on it, but the "Extras" card is only available in branch or by phone...bristolleedsfan wrote: »It it the same CC as 20.00 Cashback is being offered on.?

I can't see how they could refuse you ... a Bank of Scotland Reward account is not a Halifax Reward account. They have different names and a different set of T&Cs (though seemingly identical!).0 -

already have a halifax one card 0% purchases for 10 mnths, does that mean its possible to have another one ob 0% purcahses??0 -
Just thinking out loud...if you applied as an existing (in my case with a HICA) Halifax customer but on the BoS site, ie so you could get the new account linked to your online banking straight away, wouldn't it immediately kick you off and onto the Halifax site?I can't see how they could refuse you ... a Bank of Scotland Reward account is not a Halifax Reward account. They have different names and a different set of T&Cs (though seemingly identical!).
EDIT: I seem to remember another MSE (Dagobert?) has several Halifax & BoS current accounts. Hopefully she'll look in and comment?0
