If you want something from them you need to force them to give you the time! How about contacting your local community college and seeing what courses they have and whether any of them would be useful for you? Don't wait for your next appointment! That could be 2 weeks wasted!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Order picking, shop work, or retrain to be a debt counsellor or whatever else you think you might be able to do....
Numpty if I was an employer in your area I would be impressed with what you have to offer - but I know the company I worked for last year has lost a third of its workforce and were still cutting staff! Sadly this wasn't an isolated exampled so think about it if there are no jobs to apply for then you need to look at whether there is anything else you can do to earn money... (or retrain for the future)!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Just lost the reply I wrote!
Glad you had a break - I imagine you needed one! It is very stressful not having a job and wanting one! Hope you get the interview (and the job) next week - good luck!

I've got an interview tomorrow - don't particularly want the job as too far away, not enough money etc but if I got it - it would mean I could still hit close to my target debt free date.... so could be worth it. I've been doing my snowball calculator again to try and motivate me to research the company and "find my enthusiasm" ready for the mornng!:rotfl:Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
