Afternoon
My YD is proper poorly today and has been snuggled up on the sofa under a duvet all day.The poor petal has barely moved and said a word so must be really poorly
Cos YD is poorly we havent ventured out today and I've done a batch of Chilli in the new pressure cooker and a batch of beef stew in the SC.Both of which are to be frozen for OH's food flask next week.
I've also been playing Cluedo and Trivial Pursuit with the older two and a great time we've had too.
We had McD's for lunch.OH nipped to the Drive thru and brought the food home.I'm doing a little buffet for tea as I'm trying to use up some of the bits from the freezers to try and make some space.
All the Uniforms and school coats have been washed and dried so they are ready for Monday.I love the steam press it makes light work of my regular mountain of ironing
MSD-Great news about Tristan. They certainly let him home fast didnt they?
WBS-Chin up petal,I too read the offending thread yesterday and people will always have opinions that differ to your own thats the whole point of a discussion.I really wouldnt take them to heart and please come back
PP-Sorry you were in such pain this morning I hope it has eased now
JackieO-Hope you are having a great birthday as you certainly deserve it

Afternoon all,
OH and I went out for a lovely walk, drove further than normal to a beach about 40 mins away, and walked for three hours, my goodness it was cold  , but extremely beautiful, lots of birds to see, and I collected lots of nice shells, we sat and had our picnic, then walked back, I got some nice photos.
Stopped off in Lidl for a quick look on the way back, got some Juices, and 8 bounty ice creams for £2 :T , will have one after dinner.
Little dog is fast asleep in her bed now, and probably dreaming of her dinner  .
Off to make some smoked salmon mousse now, think it was Haribos recipe, I wonder how she is ? , ok I hope.
Have good evenings all xx0 -

We have no snow, blue sky and brilliant sunshine, but I think we must be the only part of the UK to be so lucky. It's very cold but I am certainly not complaining about that. I hope you are all coping, especially those who are unwell.
No same here Kathy. In West London it is relatively warm, the snow has melted and it is sunny (well WAS sunny. now it's getting dark)
Hope everyone is safe here. I am very worried about my OH who lives in Staffordshire. I hear the West Midlands has had quite a bit of snow every single day I know I really should be used to not hearing as it is rare for me to hear from them but I worry all the same.
Stay warm everyone..xxWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -

Yes have been to Wittering, many moons ago now.
I think what started me off today is I have a pic of Seven Sisters as my wallpaper on laptop and kept looking thinking, bet it would be lovely to take a walk down there today. Not saying it isn't nice round here, our town is called the Queen of the Moorlands, and we are very near the peak district and its lovely.........but there is no sea! lolwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

I find it hard to relate to these tutorials and pics as my stupid dolly thing has only paperclip type "nails" and not as much space wound between the "nails" and never looks like the pics???
EDIT got to step 2 on this one and then it starts to unravel off the nails.. is this dolly thing too small?
and the idiot flatmate has called and running to answer the phone I end up dropping it it came out the doll and has wound round my foot !!!!!!..
and the crochet hook gets stuck in it. as I am trying to lift the loops off the paperclips??What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
