    Morning everyone
Happy Birthday Jackie O :bdaycake: have a great day.

OH has gone to work and SD is still in bed. I am off out in a min, to library and shops. Will stick the phone in her room and OH will ring her at 10.30 to wake her up. We had slight words about this this morning before he went as he felt I should wait till she gets up, that would mean hanging around for 2 hours waiting, no, its not going to happen:rotfl:He says thats teenagers for you but I wouldn't know, by the time my daughter was that age she had a Saturday job and she used to leave the house at 8.

WM is on so will sort that when I get back, going to do some baking this afternoon but not sure what to make yet. Mind you, if I am still the wicked witch I might just retire to the bedroom with a book.:rotfl:

Have a great day whatever you are doing. xxxx

    Morning all!

    Just catching up from yesterday...
Kazzaw - thanks for the encouragement! I'm going to run with the song for now and just see how I can get on with it. If I can get it to performance quality it'll be a great addition to my audition bank:j

EssexHebridean - Ahhhhh yes, Telegraph Hill! I'm from the area (Dartmouth is so beautiful!! Love it down there) and I used to have a clapped-out Metro - by the time I got to the top of the hill I would be doing 15mph!! I miss Bertie (that was the name of my car)

    Back to today...

    JackieO - Happy happy birthday!

MSD - I'm sooooooo happy for Tristan- he must have a guardian :A watching over him.

    Plans for today:
    • Prepare for my recall audition
    • Go to my recall audition :p
    • Help my friends set up their wedding reception - they eloped to Las Vegas at Christmas and are having their UK reception tonight
    • Practice my singing if I get chance
    • Have fun and boogie at the party :T:T:T
Just had some of my HM buns toasted and yogurt for breakfast (not together!), making a frittata for lunch then yummy buffet goodies for dinner - not good for the diet, but never mind!

Not much OS going on today - unless helping out friends decorate their reception is OS?

Have a wonderful day today everyone, *huuuuuuugs* to all who need one.

    morning all!

work today for me - 11 hours:eek: going to pop into tesco on my way to get a few bits. DH is struggling round his milkround in the ice but he was really chuffed yesterday when a customer left him a note thanking him for getting to them with their milk and one also rang the dairy to say how wonderful he had been:T :j it made his day!

(((hugs))) to PP - hope you feel better as the day goes on, good luck to your DH with his signing - I've done signalong which is a more basic version, I would have liked to do the BSL but wouldn't have cause to use it and I think you need to use it or you lose it.

Diva - great news about Tristan!:j I am really pleased for you both.

Happy Birthday jackieO:bdaycake: I hope you have a wonderful day x

I hope you all enjoy your weekend, (((hugs))) to those in need

    Take care x

    Morning everyone!

Hope you're all doing just fine this Saturday?

We've had a sprinkling of snow outside :D The roads are clear though, so no problems there. I've just had a cup of tea and I'm gearing myself up to taking the dog out for a walk.

Happy Birthday JackieO :bdaycake: Many happy returns of the day!

MSD - lovely to hear that you and Tristan have been chatting online, amazing what the power of prayer can do.

Really looking forward to the Six Nations kicking off today and my DH is making dinner tonight, so I've no idea what we'll be having. I've got a washing in the machine and I'm hoping to get that hung out as there seems to be a bit of a breeze. Might change the bed as well, as it could do with it.

    Have a good day everyone!

Good morning to everyone, I am the only one up so far ( 2 kittens needing fed!)
We were at my SIL wedding last night and it was lovely. My children looked beautiful and were very well behaved but no one would dance with their mother! and I love to dance! It was nice to catch up with my OH's family, although he is overseas working so couldn't be there.
Today I must catch up on housework we are starting to get a bit untidy but hopefully with some little helpers we'll be sorted!
We have some tiny flakes of snow at the mo but it looks fairly nice outside.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend Mx

Morning all.................((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) if you need one....

Its a bright sunny morning but bbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold, we even have ice on the outside of the window in the sitting room.

I was hoping to get OH out for a walk this morning, but not so sure, have not seen anyone walk along the road yet, so not sure how slippy it is underfoot. We still have a fair amount of snow lying and I have a feeling that its frozen compacted snow.

A good day yesterday apart from moaning about his neck, I think he slept with his shoulers out of the duvet on Thursday night.

No real plans for today, liver and bacon for supper tonight, I might have to get the car out and go to Aldi we are running out of spuds. The veg man did not come this week due to the weather. I also got the beef out for tomorrows supper, I want to marinade it in some red wine for 24 hours, I use the wine to make the gravy with, 'waste not want not'!!!

I might tackle one of the wall cupboards in the kitchen,,,see how I feel when I am showered and dressed.

Need my second mug of coffee...................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
  • Good morning all. It's bitterly cold here "up north".We have more frost than anything else and now and again a few little flakes of snow but nothing major.Just a hard frost. It's quite beautiful.
I've made a stew for lunch and we can have that with some steamed pud for afters.
This afternoon me and my eldest grand-daughter,she's 18 are going shopping she's seen a lovely dress for summer(yes I know,in this weather) and I said I'd treat her to it.
Going to have a lazy weekend otherwise.
To everyone stay safe and keep warm.
(((hugs))) to all that need them.
    Take care everyone...........

:bdaycake: Jackie-0 - you are an inspiration to us all, enjoy your day with your lovely bunch of kids/grandkids.

Just off to the market, so will be stocked up with fresh stuff, and of course a amble to see if anything else is new/wanted/liked.

:grouphug: P-Pin, Smoky, WS, and anyone else feeling the cold, stuck indoors, fed up, jobless or who'd like one :grouphug:

    Take care

Not been around these parts for a long long time but just had to pop by to say a big Happy Birthday to my surrogate mum and inspiration Jackie O. What a fantastic post as always - the world is a far better place by you being around for another year. :A I hope you thoroughly enjoy your day and I will be sure to be raising a glass in your name today.

Not a tap of OS today I am off to the Hilton in manchester for an indulgent evening with a mate. (thanks to Martin its only costing £34:j )

Got you a little pressy to open Jackie but make sure non of these cheeky OS girls are around when you unwrap it or it may disappear. Clue - its not a remoska;) :rotfl:
