A walk along a river or through the park is competely free and will set a girls heart a flutter. God know's I don't know why, but trust me, it works!
At least it works with the sort of girls I can afford it date right now. No flashy cars and champagne for me0 -

dating, is that something nice then??:) due to my situation, i felt as if i didnt have anything to offer a man so any dates i have been on have been disastrous, offering to pay is a minefield as im not sure whether to offer and risk offending the chap or just be a material girl and say nothing.:beer:0

My general feeling is that I will let the guy buy the first drink, but I would automatically buy the second - if he refused to let me, I would accept gracefully, but only on the first date - on second dates etc, I would insist.
I like a man to be a bit gentlemanly, but I wouldn't expect him to pay for everything. On the other hand, I wouldn't make him uncomfortable by insisting on paying half on a first date if he specifically said he didn't want me to."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
yes, it is. I think one of the best things would be to try and think of as many cheap or free things to find to do. That would be a good way of getting to know someone. .:beer:0

Dating someone you really like while working to get our of debt sucks.
I'd don't want to say, "lets say in on Friday beceause I'm broke" so of I go for dinner. She orders wine and I smile but inside I'm thinking, that's another £30 on the card.
I need a second job or maybe a girl who is also going through the process of also getting out of debt.
What's your story? Feel free to flirt.0 -
I'm skint. I'm a girl. I hate it when a bloke pays for everything. So therefore, even though I can't afford to, I always pay half of everything (or in my last relationship, we took it in turns)
In this day and age, any woman that demands a man to pay - whether he's rich or not - is out of date and out of touch, girls earn more now and we have to accept that, along with women's rights, we have to also take half the bill.
I have found ways round going out in the past. I would suggest finding a common interest that is free or at least cheap. I was a member of the local theatre for two years (a long time ago) and my boyf used to come and either see me or work backstage.
And like has been mentioned, the quickest way to get a girl to fall in love with you is to do the little things anyway - walks in the park, across the fields, along the beach, drives to new exciting places, just spending time together, will always come top of the list - above feeding her champagne in a loud, crowded bar or buying her jewellery and then not seeing her for a week (happened to me once!)
Hope I don't sound like I'm lecturingEnd of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt
Today's total: £7,297.06
