  • I will measure it and see how much it would be.. I remember seeing a sign at Halfords this week about posting DHL stuff there

Interparcel are good for couriers - they are on some cashback sites too. You can compare different providers and go for the cheapest (like a uswitch or gocompare for couriers). DHL always seems to have a deal on for pretty big things for £8ish and they will collect from you. I leave it outside and they post the dockets through the door - saves waiting in. I use them a lot as I don't drive - I have in the past couriered my luggage ahead to save carrying it all on the train as well as toddler & pushchair...
    On a mission.

Obviously if you'd rather sell it in the local paper or ebay i would understand but it would be great if you could send it on and obv if you wanted some cash extra im sure we could come to some arrangement

Happy and healthy's good. It's all we've ever wanted.
I come from a family who worship money and we are and always have been the poor relations. My family just can't understand why we've always been so happy with our lot when compared to them we have so little.
We have lots of love between us as a couple and an immediate family and that gets us through all the highs and the lows.
Money helps but it is'nt everything.

I love your ethos on life. I wish everybody felt the same!

Taking DD out to a town I have not been to for years so if I find a PDSA will look for the hot water bottles.

Will also see if I can find a 32cm frying pan that I can use with the Remoska as a shallow pan which should save quite a bit of money.

    See you later

Just rejigging our bank accounts and stuff today, making sure I've cancelled old DD's etc roll on February when the last debt payment goes out and I can cancel 'the big one'

Have been preparing for this downturn for nearly 2 years now and feel at a bit of a loss ATM as there's nothing really left to do! I'm going to inventory our freezer(s) again today as I've been sticking lots of bargains in there and not adding them to the lists..

I made a huge turkey casserole last night which fed 4 of us comfortably and still have a good portion left for my dinner tonight..those turkey drumsticks are brilliant!
Got a turkey crown for £12 in Sainsburys yesterday:j (feeds 5-7) so Xmas dinner is sorted already :rotfl: I nearly fainted at the price of the turkeys...£50  for a good size one which we normally buy...hopefully they'll be on special before or else I know a few people who'll be having a chicken instead!
