I am stocking up too, but what gets me is other people who say to me "oh I've run out of ****" and think they can have mine because I have made the effort to stock up and they feel that I should give them some because I have plenty!!!
I'd charge them - the price I paid for it + 20% handling charge - and then they wont come back again in a hurry... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I'll have a root around for my old books over the weekend, I'll PM you it once it's found!0 -
Why not get some chickens instead of using dried egg? Obviously no good if you live in a flat but if you've got room go for them in your garden, makes sense to me.I won't buy it if I can make or borrow it instead

Does this strike anyone as odd? Our lesser off friends (ourselves included) appear to be managing a lot better through the crunch the our better off friends. We've always budgetted for the worse, however things have worked out better than anticipated (I think rent being low has helped). My middle class friends are honestly worrying about where they'll find money to pay the bills.
Anyone else notice this?
Anyway to the original topic - I've cut out drinking for my health but it's also saving me a packet. I'm also trying to keep a closer eye on what I spend in an attempt to save some cash for a rainy day (or year).Taking baby-steps :beer:0 -
