This is absurd that in this day and age companies can evade even the bailiffs. If it were the other way around and we owed them (the pricipal would apply to any company) money we wouldn't stand a chance. At least they've stopped selling new phones.

I have not contacted mobile rainbow since my case ... should I now contact them and tell them I am going to enforce the CCJ, as they have not paid me? Will this make any difference?

There seems no point trying to contact them - they are happy to get ccjs, and not pay as ordered.

If you have decided to pay up for enforcement you may as well just do it and hope for the best.

mmm I need to read all this information and try to decide which method of enforcement may be successful. Are there any students who have been through this process? ... I ask because they would be exempt from fees, so what was the outcome? please share your information if there is anyone in the forum in this situation.
PS Thanks Quentin, your posts from page 1 thru 36 have always been helpful, clear and to the point.

have posted on the other thread, agreed 4 instalments at mediation. first one due next week, court scheduled in june, and i can apply to the court to get the agreed mediation terms enforced. In light of the insecurity of this company i thought this would be the cheapest option... Please let me receive some money next week!!!!!!

We have just been into court to request judgement option - option to pay immediatley and could take out warrent for baliffs to go straight in - additional costs £55 to be paid but reading what others have put - thinking of pulling out - undecided.

So angry that they can keep on treading and continue to do the same to others.

Wheres the legal protection to ensure these companies dont get any with trading like this. Feel like confronting them in person but what is the point.

***Would like to thank Quenten for his previous reply******

posted on other thread!!!! - i got paid by MSOLS today, 1 out of 4 agreed instalments at mediation. I know, i nearly fell off my chair!!!!!! £100 paid and £302 to go... I have a court hearing scheduled but would love to cancel if they pay up!!!!
so dont give up, maybe they are more likely to pay out installments? its good news for all, cos if they did not give a whatsit and were about to go bust, im sure they would not have bothered to pay me...

Hello all and congrats to those who have got their money. I am just putting together copies of all the documents that I am submitting to the court before my hearing in June. I thought I'd check their company records again and guess what...

Back in December 2007 when I last checked Msols had a turnover of around £2 million and only one CCJ against them for £25. Now, in May 2008, they have... wait for it...

78 CCJs against them totalling £21,694

Of these, 3 are registered as having been paid.

That's incredible, I've never seen a company with that many judgements against them. I don't know whether to be encouraged or not by this. I'm certainly going to pursue them till the end in any case.
