Sainthalo can you tell us your ref no, or give us the format of it?

i think you are better off getting your own letter off the ASA but here is what the ref number looks like A04-11243 but next she will start askin for who sent the letter etc. which wasn know to me but juss chill out and fill in the ASA form and do it legit when you get your letter. ASA should reply soon as they already decided evrything didnt they. i'll be gettin a letter too soon i hope.

an if any clowns post sayin its a fraud please can they post their legal qualifications as well for makin such a statement or are they on the dole!? please put down the negative comments as soon as people make them as i noticed they soon shut up once people tell em too.

no mate she didnt ask for me number but that doesnt matter now it aint gonna work that way. you see now one of the things about me tellin you is that i told everyone else too so lots of people tried it and someone also threatened to call her and tell her. best thing to do is for you to complain to asa takes 5 minutes then chill out and wait for the asa letter to come thru the door - you would be better off ringin the asa then toys r us it looks like toys r us are notorious bad at helpin customers till threatened so you know you have to be patient and let the asa write you back but it will all be good and shd be in time for xmas thats what counts.

SaintHalo, thanks for all your postings, i contacted Toys R Us this morning and she wants ref no off top of letter, anyhow i filled in my complaints ASA form yesterday so will wait and hopefully get a reply. Thanks for sharing your information, if others don't like it, too bad, no-ones forcing them to read it are they? >:(

im amazed you have actually managed to talk to her. Ive rung 4 times and shes been on the phone. I have also sent e-mails to their general customer services team chasing this up.

I have contacted the ASA alsoi so just going to sit tight and be patient now instead.

I dont understand the mentality of some of the people on this forum ??? ??? ???. Its ok to take advantage of a price mis-quoted on another site, or to use a code that they shouldnt use. Yet they criticise the information being provided on this thread as being Fraud.

No one is pressurising anyone to use this info, click on another thread if you dont like the info.

The purpose of this site is to take advantage of Loopholes in the system this is just another one of these and by shouting down the OP of these threads there wont be anyone willing to stick their neck out, just to get a lot of abuse from other members.

I was one of those that went into Toysrus to get this offer, only to be told it wasnt on anymore - even after complaining till I was blue in the face. I decided to let it go, consoling myself with all the other bargains I have obtained since registering with MSE.

If it wasnt for your post I would never have known about ASA's involvment in this and would never have attempted complaining to them to try to get my new Xbox.

I would suggest ignoring those that poo-poo your efforts, I would not dignify them with a response. If you apply my situation to their comments, thay are at best misguided and at worst hypocritical.

OK here is the final detail after speaking with Julia

1) She has a list of names of people who complained to ASA some time ago. If you are not on that list then you won't get the item.

2) If you complain now you wil be told the item is not available at that price.

Well i guess its Game over. Although i've sent my letter. Getting this deal from toyrus is like getting blood out of a stone.

Mate dont believe a word of the lies they spread at toys r us. they are the ones who effed up in the first place and that julie is so dumb i rang her twice and got two off her yesterday and she had no list at all and i dont think the asa would give her a list without getting permission off the people cos that is against Data rules and no way did they get that permission that quickly. smells like she is bluffing you thats what toys r us do.

On top of that she dont make decisions for toys r us - the director will get the stick from the ASA when you complain to them so jus complain to the ASA and take it from there. If the ASA cave complain to them and say this is not right other people got it i was equally disappointed anf they beached your code - insist they do a full adjudocation etcetera dont give up

but for the moment juss complains to the asa asap and wait for your letter hopefully not a whitewash!
