OK here is the final detail after speaking with Julia

1) She has a list of names of people who complained to ASA some time ago. If you are not on that list then you won't get the item.

2) If you complain now you wil be told the item is not available at that price.

Well i guess its Game over. Although i've sent my letter. Getting this deal from toyrus is like getting blood out of a stone.

ive only just plucked up the courage to send me ASA complaint and was working up to THE PHONE CALL!!!

just point out to her that you wasnt aware of ASA, and complaing etc, you was speaking to a friend about xmas and you was upset that you couldnt get your Xbox as you was hoping to get and they informed you, you should have made a complaint, this then made you look into where you could complain on such an issue and you came across ASA.

Which is why there was a delay in your complaint but you was still on e of the people who was bumped by toys r us in the original false offer

Hey i'm not an employee of that forsaken place!
That is an insult, a below the belt insult.

Toys'r'us completely mistreat their customers and should honour the deal they made. I've made my complaint to the ASA....awaiting reply.

When you recieve you reply from ASA they will give you all the details.

Best way is to follow procedure then you are covered.
