Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

Hiya - - French student leaves tomorrow (been with us for 9 weeks) German student arrived on Wednesday
2 week trial then potentially staying with us for 9 months til next May - so that will have my rooms both full until the end of January when my other lady finishes her year with us.

Will re-evaluate then :) its not as intrusive as I thought it would be and the money is absolutely being used for debt busting so its all helpful. :) Also not sure what landlord is thinking as he 'mentioned' the possibility of extending my lease. ? otherwise we leave the house and the 'resource' in August. So I am making the most of the opportunity

    Enjoy the show :)

Evil edna account renamed as such and am flinging 10 a day to the evil one - its hard though at the moment - still waiting for expenses and juggling alot so I might need to review the 10 a day - not sure yet - whilst sailing close to the wind but not sunk I will continue that payment.

Need to change my phone bill to DD - I pay it online at the moment quarterly - another reason for my lack of cash this month as the bill was due.

Also need to move DD's from evil edna to my RBS account now that I have killed my loan - and have everything in one place

Thinking of getting DD a sewing machine for her xmas - is that a horrible pressie? Watched lots of things on the news about mend and make do - we do that alot but to teach her to do things herself might be fun ? Or am I just incredibly sad????

Oh yeah and re-order milk! - Cancelled it before the holidays :)

Fay, my mum gave me a sewing machine (hand operated, cost her £5 from the auction house) when I was about 11.
I was chuffed to bits. And the envy of my friends :D

Sewed all sorts of carp though, before, at 15 or so I started making my own clothes ;) :money:
  • Hi Olive
Yeah she is a frugal-in-the-making-gal - might be fun for her :)
