Hello Fay & everyone - got back yesterday from the Hebrides and it was wonderful - as ever didn't want to come home! Lots of stuff / pics on my blog if anyone wants a read (it should be in my profile).
Fay you're doing amazingly well with the Hairy scary loan - it'll be gone before you know it. I'm on a tight grocery budget this month too so we should motivate ourselves to see out the month and not go over. I've got £16 left for next week's shop so we will see how that goes. Both freezers are now full to bursting though as we brought lots of stuff back with us (Black, white and fruit puddings from our favourite butchers, Scallops - we can never afford them at the prices down here - flaky smoked salmon - real treat food and it gets eked out over lots of meals - kippers and cheese from the Stornoway Smokehouse and pate from another smokehouse just a few miles from where we stay up there - also brought back two big bags of oatmeal - hurrah!). Hopefully I should need just basics next week. *ouch - panic as I remember minor forgotten detail...* I hope so anyway as I've just remembered I have a veg box coming this week too.....eek, I think I'm going over!
Had better go and catch up with what I should be doing on Flylady and try to get back to some kind of normality now.....back to work tomorrow but want to make the most of today - might go for a wander round the RSPB reserve this afternoon if the sun stays out!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
