Hi finnegan and sharon59 sometimes you just have to see the funny side of things don't you although it does mean I now have a very potty-minded sense of humour
Janetew - Crohn's disease in the UK was really supportive a few years back during my last major attack."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

Me myself suffer from Fibromyaliga i have had this for some 7 years now but the worse thing is my husband has had ME/Fibromyaliga or both as thay say its called alsorts of things they are now calling it for nearly 17 years,
i cared for him all this time as a wife would, we also both have a load of other stuff like Thyroid (me) and for poor hubby he is now Dieabetic but he is NOT obsesst, now life in our house can be fun we tend to bounce of each other i help him he helps me we get there in the end we also have a saying we have to do it because we dont want anyone doing it for us:) we are not going to give into this illness,
And there are loads of people who think its not a true illness as all but all in the mind (i iwish) then i say to them tell you what you can have my thoughts for a day then we will see)
Anyway what i would like to ask is what is the illness you have to care for sorry if i have put it the wrong way but i guess you will work out what i asking like i`m going to end this post
Jac ( Fibromyalga)
I have Stargardt's Disease (juvenile macular disease) which affects both eyes and I am registered partially sighted.
Your use of that colour font is something I cannot read properly at all.

Well if you stop laughing you could end up crying and life is too too short xx
I agree with you.
I have asthma, bronchiectasis, Me, arthritis and weakness on my left side due to a small stroke I had a few years ago.
At the moment I am worried about my dad it looks like he has alzheimers just waiting for some more tests for him.
Best wishes to all.

I care for my little boy who is 17 months and has a rare lung disease, diagnosed at 6 months. He is on oxygen 24 hrs a day and gets monthly injections at the hospital. Despite the oxygen he is a wee honey, always smiling and laughing and a complete pleasure to be around, even when we have had a bad night!0

Chronic asthma / COPD, steroid induced diabetes, obstructive sleep apnia. With a peak flow of 200, I have the energy of a snail, am on 16 tablets/ nebules a day, and in cold weather i'm house bound.
Over the last 7 months I've been in hospital 5 times never for less than a week, usually nearer 3. am in the process of applying for DLA, and have had to face the prospect of being unable to work. Hubby has been an absolute darling, but still thinks I will get "better" bless him. The last year sure has changed my out look on life
I'm currently waiting for an appointment at a specialist asthma clinic (i need a subcutaneous pump).
