a-s....that's good, clean MBAM log, means you've deleted the nasties it found earlier..
"now i'm going to do the spyware as advised, but it's still there at the moment" - now I'm slightly confused..do you mean a superantispyware scan ?? what's still where at the moment ??......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

My Norton is still saying the Trojan is there...... I am doing the superantisypware scan now....
I am confused that Norton is still saying it's there.

hmmm.....let SAS do it's stuff and delete anything it finds...you did remember to update it before scanning ??
Is norton picking it up fresh, or is it just in a log of some description, like an event log or quarantined location ??? Not familiar with Norton's setup, but it will have some sort of "safe area" that it isolates threats into before you remove them.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I did update it.....
I am still getting the same message with Norton, and it says when you have removed it manually to press 'refresh' which is what I am doing but it's still saying it's there. but SAS is running, and then i'll do HIJACK this as suggested.
I'll put the log on there once SAS has finished.

Can you give all information you can on thr trojan please? (Where it resides etc):idea:0
-
It came in on a file I was downloading from Limewire, and it won't let me delete the file, it's in My documents/Limewire/Incomplete Files .......
It's not going away.... I have found 43 tracking cookies with the SAS and I'll put the log on here, and then do the hijack programme, but Norton still tells me the trojan is still there. How can I tell where it resides for accuracy?
Thanks, and thank you for your patience.
