Amateur saver ~ you never actually DELETED the files (No action taken at the end)
Youll have to run another scan and MAKE SURE you delete them this time round

You still have parts of AVG in there. Use the removal tool
    http://www.avg.com/download-tools

You have WINDOWS LIVE ONECARE running. Uninstall it as its cr*p

Your norton looks partially broken to me
Id suggest uninstalling using the tool ~
    http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
Then reinstalling via your disc or the net (Put it on your desktop ready if you need to)

    OR

Install AVIRA anti virus and PCTOOLS firewall instead (As clearly norton isnt working properly, wether thats because parts missing or because its out of date (?) im unsure)

Download AVIRA ANTI VIRUS PERSONAL (Top right)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_antivir/

Download PC TOOLS FIREWALL (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
    http://www.download.com/PC-Tools-Firewall-Plus-Free-Edition/3000-10435_4-10625321.html

FIX these using hijack this ~
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {B1E0C6DC-BBEA-4DE1-BFCA-70362CD86579} - (no file)
    O9 - Extra button: Sky - !!08E730A4-FB02-45BD-A900-01E4AD8016F6} - http://www.sky.com (file missing)
    O23 - Service: FreezeScreenSaver - Unknown owner - C:\Windows\system32\FreezeScreenSaver.exe

(I think the aboves 'screensaver is one of the main reasons youve had problems)

Your missing a small part of vista too. Goto WINDOWS UPDATE and update all drivers and software you can (Click for 'custom' installations)

Thanks. I'm running Norton 360 as I got a 12 month subscription free with my PC. That is about to expire in 30 days and I was considering moving to Kapesrky as Barclays gave me the full package for free (I'm assuming for 12 months?)

Do you think thats a good idea?

Will follow the rest of your steps and get back to you.

    Thanks again

Also, would you say that running AVIRA ANTI VIRUS PERSONAL and PC TOOLS FIREWALL together is the best combo I should have? So remove all other anti virus type apps and use just those 2? Better than a Kapersky/ PC Tools Firewall combo?

Norton has always been fairly awful, I only kept it after the update it had seemed to make it more efficient. -I think I got fooled though, for good presentation but cr*p protection!

Its a matter of opinion, but id say kaspersky would be better than avira
(And if its the FULL package, should have its own firewall)

Cool. I'll say my good byes to Norton later today. This was my latest Hijack this scan (after removing the things you recomended). One care will be gone on next start up and Norton replaced later.

Hows it looking? PC feels loads better by the way. :D :j

The only entry im unsure of is this ~
    O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\!!53EDC92F-14A6-47D6-8676-933605F66D97}: NameServer = 192.168.0.1

The ip will be your own, im just unsure of why its there

Aside from that it looks clean. Im sure kaspersky will pick anything nasty up on its first scan if there is anything
