I have just placed an order 9 blinds.
all were ok apart from 1 which had the cord too short. I called up customer services and was told they deal with queries efficiently via email. I don't know about anyone else but to me, efficiency is time and how quick queries are dealt with.
Anyway, the lady i spoke to, just didn't seem bothered. her words:
"would you like me to send a message to customer services or did you want to do it"
i said i'll do it. i sent in photos of the short cord and no reply....:mad:
the only time that you can tell a company is good is when something goes wrong and how quickly that wrong is put right...mistakes do happen, it's a fact of life but blindsuk.net is an absolute joke. will never ever use again. if owner of that company is reading this, please do us all a favour, and close down your company as we have much more important things to do than to chase you for our orders.0 -

I purchased 6 Blinds from Blindsuk.net, 3 of which were completely the wrong size and the Company asked me to take pictures, I requested they come and have a look but they don't offer this service. I was then told to post them back and they would charge me if they feel there is nothing wrong with the sizes provided. As if I would have contacted them if they were ok. Also 1 of the blinds has pin holes which is not great when you purchase blackouts. The Customer Services is the worst I have ever come across and I wouldn't send the blinds back as I have seen posts on other sites saying 4 months later they haven't had any blinds returned to them or a refund. I reported this Company to Trading Standards and hope others follow. Companies like this should not be Trading. I spend hundreds of pounds with these and got treated in an appalling manner. Shocking Company to do business with.

A quick update ....
I ordered three curtains and a blind on 8/3. Had an email via there website stating there were not in stock and would I wait till the end of the month. They were all made to measure and not on the shelf measurements. I was in no rush and agreed but stated if they were not with me within a week of the time stated by them, then I will cancel.
The blinds turned up earlier than expected and the curtains a few days later. I can't complain of the quality as they are all very good.
Mine were worth the wait :beer:0 -
Just wanted to add an up to date post!
Ordered from Blindsuk.net on 6/9/12 and received them today 24/9/12. Not bad quality for the price (£57 per roman blind instead of £125 quoted elsewhere) would not say perfect but I'm happy. I asked for extra material to make matching curtains. Had the usual delay in email communication regarding this but when I finally got a reply I was able to purchase the material for a fraction (a third) of the price quoted elsewhere.
All in all - I am delighted with my purchases through blindsuk.net and so long as you are willing to wait for communication and delivery the company provides an unbeatable product for the price!I love straight forward people, makes life ten times easier.0 -
I ordered a roman blind with them on 15 November, waiting for email to confirm delivery, none arrived. I emailed them to find out where blind was and was told its a very busy time of year and delivery will be on or around 10 December!! Delivery in 7-10 days, I dont think so. So emailed them and told them just to cancel order which they have done. Still waiting on refund and dont seem to be getting anywhere with it. I paid £33 by visa, am I able to contact bank and ask them to refund payment and claim back from the company, or do I just have to sit and wait for them to refund, which probably will never happen:mad:0

I found this thread after I had ordered two blinds from them so I was a bit worried. I had googled them as I'd failed to receive an emailed order confirmation.
I contacted them using their online form and got a response via the same system. So unusual communication method but once I realised that I was fine. I was notified when each of the blinds was going to be delivered including the Citylink reference. Both arrived well within the stated timeframe.
We're happy with the blinds; they're exactly as we were executing and look great.0 -
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY, ordered blinds 7th march now 29th march and after 5 e-mails still no blinds. this company is all smoke and mirrors,broken promises, lies and excuses. after 10 days contacted and was told 7-10 working days (not on website, say delivery 7-10 days, after waiting another few days told blinds were in production on 20th march ,e-mailed again and was told blinds would be finished on tuesday 27th and out for delivery by courier next day (confirmation of delivery by e-mail) guess what NO e-mail and this is 29th i will be reporting this company to Advertising standards and Office of Fair Trading. this company is impossible to contact other than be e-mail and they make promises they have no intention of keeping, i will also be raising a dispute with my credit card company and would recommend anyone else having like problems to do the same. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.0

Nearly five years old this thread and still bad reports coming in !!! Placed order for next day blinds but now told on delivery day "discontinued out of stock" thanks im really stuck now waiting for refund god know how long this will take. I cannot get any answer from phone number i was given to call back so customer service is still not good but i did get a email saying i could buy other blinds at a extra cost !!!
go elsewhere is my tip.

Ok, ordered a blind for next day delivery on website money taken email sent saying delivery on friday, friday comes and no blind but a email saying sorry out of stock discontinued fabric i don't believe this at all as other blind companies sell the same fabric and they all use the same suppliers so what's going on ???
Also in email they said i can choose another blind but would have to pay extra £15 what a cheek also you cannot phone them just email.
I asked for a refund asap but was told had to wait till the factory cancelled the order? !!!!!! if its a discontinued fabric what do they have to cancel !!! so i email back saying its still on website and was told their i.t people will remove it later on friday now i look at the website and it is still on website but now at a higher price !!!. Steer clear and read other websites about blinds uk for bad reviews as it looks like they try to get bad reviews on here removed.
PS, STILL WAITING FOR REFUND WILL HAVE TO GO TO MY BANK IF NOT REFUNDED ASAP.0
