Has anyone else had issues getting them to take back broken blinds? I'm not sure what to do next I just keep getting emails from them saying they are not broken, but I can see them and they are broken!

HOw did you find this company?what exactly is the problem?0

We have just bought blinds from this company, and when delivered one of the slats was broken. They emailed a reply to say they would send out a new slat for us to repair (apparently very easy to do) or we could send back for them to do. Replied (by email) to have it sent back, and surprise surprise have heard nothing more. I suggest phoning them and going onto the "about our products" option, as you do get to talk to somebody. We are hoping they haven't taken out 2 lots of payment, as our card didn't go through on their site first time. Nice blind, shame about non-existent customer service! Won't be using them again.0

I too have had problems with blindsuk.net.I would recommend anyone to steer well clear of them. I ordered three blinds and all three were made from a roll end. This means that they all curled away from the window at the sides and had lines running down them. They will only discuss the problem by email and as it takes them a day to reply it is a very slow process. They do have a phone line for orders which they answer immediately. They will not discuss faulty goods no matter what you say.0

BLINDS UK
Just attempted to fix roller blinds and took hours to fix as the spring sprang out of the fixings, also no instructions included and the cut is frayed and wobbly, the fixings are cheap plastic - these were not cheap blinds so I feel disappointed in the quality Warning do not buy from them.0 -
wish I'd seen this before I ordered on the 30th May
Their delivery details state 7 working days - well it's now 11th June and I'm still waiting on a response to my simple question: "when can I actually expect delivery" - of course I get no reply to this question.
They have the cheek to state they'll charge £8 redelivery fee if you miss the courier (yeah right - they have NO hope) and yet they don't think it necessary to even give you an accurate timescale.
Perhaps I should now charge them £8 for the inconvenience of having waited in yet another day for nothing.
And to top it all off - I've just read these posts and realised I am most likely waiting in for cheap tat :mad:0 -

Ok. That is more than seven days, I agree, but only just.
From their website...How do I chase my order if it does not arrive within the specified time frame?
If you do not receive your order as indicated in our order confirmation email please write to us at customerservice@blindsuk.net and we will chase the order for you.0 -
thanks for your reply Keith but I'm afraid you may not have read it properly - I said I was still waiting for the answer to my question "when can I expect delivery" not that they were a couple of days late in delivery!
My above question about delivery was sent to the email address you supplied! THAT was what I was waiting for.
But anyway, it EVENTUALLY arrived the other day with no instructions or screws!
When I queried this I was told "this type does not come with screws" WTH??!!!!!!0 -
I've just used them & certainly wouldn't use them again.
Firstly, I ordered from their next day range and paid for next day delivery because (funnily enough) I wanted the items the next day. They didn't arrive the next day. Admittedly the next day was Saturday but it said nothing when I purchased about not delivering Saturdays. I accept that there wont be Sunday delivery but most companies deliver Saturdays now and certainly shouldn't charge you for next day delivery if they don't.
Secondly, they don't have cords for tilting the blinds but an ugly 2 metre long plastic stick which is not indicated anywhere on their website.
Thirdly, they don't come with any instructions. I looked on their website and the extent of their instructions were "Brackets can be face or top fixed". Very helpful.
I realise that none of these are major issues but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.Wedding 5th September 20150 -

Hi there
I've just used a company called Wilsons Blinds, and they were very quick with their delivery. For my large bay window I paid £240.00 for wooden blinds with 50mm slats and I must say I'm very pleased with them. HTH x
ps. there is another company called 247, but as yet I've not ordered from them but they also do ready made and made to measure curtains.
They both have web sites0
