Well the lesson to me is to check reviews first.
My situation is the same as the others, I have managed to talk to somebody on the phone however (three times) and they promise that I will get the blinds in the 'next couple of days'. I have just spoken to somebody again who gave the name 'Sofie' who assures me that my order is 'the highest priority' and will be with me in the 'next couple of days' again.
I guess that I will have to live with the poor customer service but reading around reviews it looks as though I might be getting poor quality blinds as well - I'll have to wait and see.0 -
In all fairness the quality that I received are good. I've had them just over a year and they haven't changed shaped, discoloured, etc.
Like others have said they need to drastically improve on customer services as it's non existent. Then stop taking peoples money for things they can't supply and try to upsell on.0 -

Well diesel dog you have lifted my spirits a little
With any luck they will be fine and I can put it all down to experience.
It's incredible how far back this thread goes though.0 -
I ordered a roman blind on 30th March, money debited 2nd April. After 15 days I chased and chased, struggled to get any response by email - phonelines dont seem to be manned.
Blind eventually delivered 25th April. Quality seems fine but it is 4mm too big so doesnt find window. I gave exact recess measurements as they request this and assure you that they will calculate the amount required for the blind to work. As it happens they have made it larger!
I have now sent numerous emails, sent the photos as per their request and have had no contact but am £60 worse off.
Any ideas who to report this to?????
Many thanks!0 -
Well the blinds turned up at last. They seem to be ok but they have taken more than 3mm off the size ans so they are a bit small.
I measured the opening precisely to the mm but I don't think that they use the same care when making them. Fortunately I was not looking for blackout so they will do.
I have no idea what would happen if you paid the extra for next day delivery but the 5/7 day promise is really a bit of a joke. My advice is to do what I did and just keep calling. Eventually they send them.0 -
I put in Google for Wilsons Blinds Review and this came up but it is Blinds.Net which is a different company.I have since bought from Wilsons Blinds , Great service and products would 100% recommend .0

I purchased 3 blinds from blindsuk and after using them 3 times 1 of the blinds have completely broken. The mechanism inside is made from plastic and it has snapped which means you can no longer get it to roll up or down. After months of arguing with the company I am no nearer getting the issue sorted.
The only suggestion I got from them to resolve the issue was to buy a new blind or pay the same as a new blind to get it fixed. I don't find this to be a satisfactory response when it's obviously a fault.
I'm really disappointed as I wish I would have stuck with my original plan to make a blind as I would only have myself to blame for it breaking.
Stay well away from this company!0 -
Order 415924: The WORST EVER ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCEwe have ever encountered! Delays in delivery promise. Received order was poorlypackaged, and the blinds were of an incredibly POOR QUALITY! Customer Serviceand web based ‘contact’ system was slow, exhibited poor ‘use-of-English’, andextremely evasive of their consumer responsibilities being reluctant to resolveissues! After a recorded letter to theMD, numerous phone calls, emails to customer services and over forty ‘contactsystem’ exchanges; I gained collection of the goods and received a full refund. The whole saga took approximately two months to conclude. Would I recommendBlindsUK – NO! Would I do repeatbusiness with BlindsUK NO! This Companyis C.A.UNITRADE Ltd. BlindsUK is a simply web URL leading you to believe it’s aUK manufacturing entity; They would never tell me the country of origin of myorder. BEWARE.

I can't believe there are so many negative and poor reviews up here. I myself am a returning customer as their service and products never let me down. They delivered on time just as expected. My last order was a blackout blind. I'm very satisfied with the service I've received over the time. I have only good things to say about these guys!0

I was so pleased with the service and product provided that I decided to write my opinion even though I usually don't. I got some lovely vertical blinds that were easy to put up and they were delivered very fast. More than happy with the quality of the blinds, I think I'm going to buy some curtains for my parents' house from these guys.0
