    Hello everyone

    I thought I would put up some updates with regards to my case.

    I had a new offer which was still low to my proposal.

    I have been issued with a costs notice (threat) from the respondent's solicitors. They also said that if I do not take the offer within 5 days, the offer will be withdrawn!

    I would like to show my appreciation to jobbingmusician and everyone on here that has helped me. You guys are on a different level.
    The world still has great people and great Samaritans.

    I will make more updates in a few days.

    sorry to hijack the thread but what does anyone think of my chances.
    I've finally got my Tribunal date(late Jan) 14 months after I was sacked.
    My union have taken on my case and have been very supportive.

    I was sacked for gross misconduct on a safety related charge,I worked on the railway.

    My main complaint is that I have been treated more harshly than fellow colleagues,2 of which are witnesses.They were given verbal or written warnings for the exact same offence.

    My second complaint is the manager who took my disciplinary and ultimitely sacked me produced an amended works roster(I have a copy)stating that due to my dismissal that they had to work extra hours to cover the hours I would normally do.
    My problem with this roster was it was dated the day before my disciplinary,I believe the decision to sack me was taken before my disciplinary,it was already a pre-ordained result making a total sham of my disciplinary.

    I believe that I have quite a strong case,my employer,believing they can't lose,refused to mediate with ACAS and have threatened me with costs through the whole process and have not responded to the points above but are relying on their safety briefing regime and are calling my witnesses credibility into question.

    My only worry is that at my appeal I partially admitted to some of the offence as the manager taking it implied that it was the only way forward and that if i did that he would be able to help me.....then stabbed me in the back.

    Any thoughts anyone....I have heard that the Tribunals lean heavily towards the employer.

    Hello everyone,

    I have a very good ET cases agaist my employer Discrimination and unfair dismissal which they can't win reason----
    *** they forged a lot of documents, which i have solid proof and copies of the original documents
    *** The policy and procedure not followed
    *** Witnesses have lied to governning body( various Statements)

    Went for PHR as requested by the employer solicitor for the two cases to be combined or struck out and
    ***The direction was given by the tribunal that both cases to be combined and NOT struck out
    ***Employer solicitor to prepare joint bundle etc
    We had a bundle we already jointly prepared before the PHR and the Judge directed that if any more disclosures that it should be added to this bundle.......Now my question is

    ***The Solicitor now prepare a complete new bundle
    ***My disclosures were not included.....
    ***I wrote to them that i will not use the new bundle that they should only send pagenated copies of our disclosures to me and ask for this to be actioned ASAP.....I haven't received any correspondence back from them it now almost a month i have written and email then several times what can i do.....This disclosure is very very important what can i do..........Please HELP am representing myself .

    Please start a new thread. This one is over two years old.
  • Agreed. This thread was started as general advice for people going to ET (which is why I pointed someone to it yesterday, when they asked a general question about what was likely to happen there). Much more sensible to start a new thread for specific questions!
