i'm actually envious, i like the cow one, but couldn't bring myself to pay that much... dh would never agree to it either he begrudged the £15.99 i spent on the one i have now!

  • I have a makeshift shopping trolley - a wheely luggage bag with a push-down handle I got for a couple of quid at a charity shop for this very purpose. I take it shopping with me and to car-boot sales (I'm a fiend for books and pictures!). I do get some strange looks when I'm packing it full at the supermarket checkout (I'm 25 ;) ), but I get just as many people remarking what a good idea it is (I guess a luggage trolley doesn't have the same stigma as a wally trolley!). It's not as big or well-designed as the 'proper shoppers' but for £2 I'm not complaining - it makes my life easier!

Still pondering over the cow print one, shall I, shan't I, will I, won't I. It's a cracker and would be ideal for when I do a big shop every few weeks or so, and lugging home bags of spuds, washing powder etc etc. Tempted, tempted.... When I think what I spend at the CP it would be worth it.

Some people push their trollies while others pull them, I'd pull mine, what does everyone else do?

Pull definitely. You only push then if you are a 'get out of my way I lived through two world wars you know' type, or else you have one of the rectangular cage on wheels type things;)

Wonder if it would arrive before Thursday if I ordered it now.

Just wondered, the cow print one doesn't fold right, so where would I put it while shopping. Do all the supermarket trolleys have hooks on them, would it fit on them? I'd be afraid someone would pinch it on me while shopping.

You will probably find that the base folds upwards. Mine does, however I hardly ever have to use this as the bottom rung of the handle (where the Velcro fastener is) sits on the hook on a supermarket trolley at just the right height. Or do what I do. Plonk the shopper straight into the trolley itself, (very light when empty). If I do that then it helps limit the amount I can get into the supermarket trolley to just about the same amount as I can get into the shopper icon11.gif.

Found this link in the practical shopping tips collection. These are so cool even Nelski will want one icon7.gif
