I have finally got myself a trolley :j

Not the Rolser which I really wanted, but I went into a local hardware shop this morning and saw this

    http://www.typhoonhousewares.com/TyphoonSite/product/Shopping%20Trolleys/40001.htm

    I think it is quite trendy-looking and not ' granny-ish '

It is slightly smaller than a Rolser, but it is big enough for me and it was £29.99 which is a lot cheaper than a Rolser too.

I removed all the labels and price ticket when I had paid for it and went straight into Lidl's and bought a load of heavy stuff which I would never have been able to carry and wheeled it off home :D It was very easy to pull along even though there was a lot of heavy things in it.

I am really pleased with it,no more aching arms and shoulders from carrying heavy bags.

I'm a little bit disappointed with my Rolser. It's brilliant when it's full but when it's empty it seems to catch my heels when I'm walking which I find hugely irritating. It needs a full load to balance it somehow. Maybe I'm missing something but you don't seem to be able to adjust the length of the handle.
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

    Anniewoo, that's a funky trolly.

I bought my one from an ebay seller. It's black with a zebra print on the flap and cost about £14.

I've just got back from Tesco. A man in front of me was using a trolley, he was quite tall and had tied a strap around the handle and was using that to pull the trolley. Maybe you can try that if the handle isnt adjustable.

Just bought my new trolley! I was in town today and thought I'd pop in the factory clearance shop, they had no trolleys when I looked last week but they had some today. It's a Hoppa with flowers on it so doesn't look too grannyish and only cost £12.

    It's this one in black:

    Love them?
Anguk, looks like you got in just in time with that one, looks as if the prices of it are doubling now! Very nice trolleys.

Just a heads up that Lidl have their trolleys in stock again. I think they were around the £12 mark but cannot be sure as I didn't write it down and cannot get the blummin Lidle wedsite to accept my postcode any more gggrrrrrrr!

Re the Rolsers catching your heels - I found that mine did that at first but either I changed the way I tow it when empty (try extending your arm a little) or the trolley settled after pulling a few loads, whatever it was, it stopped being a problem quite quickly.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Oh, it's not just me that has that problem then? I can get to the site on my netbook and my location is stored on there, but on my laptop, it forgot my location and now when I try to enter the postcode, it just takes me to the same page.
