Trouble is (and I don't know if anyone else has noticed this happening) the more tired I am when I go to bed or if I've done too much during the day, the worse my sleep becomes.
I am exactly that way, i know when i get to the burning tiredness i wont settle at all at night, i had an earlier night last night to purely try and sleep before i got too tired. I would be better though if i could stay up later at night and sleep later in the morning, as i seem to manage to get to sleep in the early hours and would be happy to sleep on for hours when the alarm goes off :rolleyes:2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000

:rotfl: Im still laughing at raehs comment about not being able to hear when she has her tinted glasses on, cant believe no one else picked that up :rotfl:

Sharon (((Hugs))) Im glad you are keeping so positive, it's so important. We will be with you every step of the way. I hope your oh is feeling better soon too.
cwta Funny you should ask about Dad, he rang me last night, he'd got the results of his scan and the chemo has significantly moved the tumour, also they think its shrunk enough to be able to operate, he had to go back to hospital today for one of those camera thingys down the throat (foggy)
just to double check, and if its right then he should be able to have the op asap :j It's the best news we've had for ages. I know he's still got a long way to go, but its so good to hear something even slightly positive atm.
Im in a lot of pain tonight and have had a hectic day, tomorrows not much better so Im off to bed. I've been babysitting little g/d this afternoon and have little g/s tomorrow morning and Ive used all my spoons  Im going to try and keep going until the afternoon then I shall probably go to bed for the next few days until I recover.

I didn't pick up on it a) 'cos I was too tired, and b) 'cos I understand what Rae meant. If you've had a hearing impairment for many years you get into the habit of lipreading without realising it. Put dark/tinted lenses on and you can't see peoples lips so easily, ergo you can't 'hear' what they're saying so well.s/e0
