bz thats an excellent deal, what phone company?
Orange :) I've been with them for ten years now (I can barely be @rsed to upgrade and find a new deal, never mind change companies and numbers!) so they could've been a bit nicer to me than they would normally, but apparently the Comes With Music tariff (24month contract for the free music) is normally £30, which is still pretty good, and the more I asked about whether it had this, that, or the other, the more stuff he offered :D DF got a deal with O2 thru Tesco not long back where he got his Nokia 5800 with 600 mins and unlimited texts for £25/month with £110 cashback (it came as a cheque within 14days) - so I knew that's what I wanted or better, so Orange did as good as plus some more :D

I do that all the time. No concept of what day, date, or time it is, or when things happened in relation to when it is now!:rotfl:

Hoping the car doesn't get another battering.;) Does that mean that your pole-bump will be repaired as part of the man-reversing-into-your-car claim?

Besides, reaching a bit with the plumber/plug gag ain't ya? Surely you can do better than that?? :p:cool2:

other sides unfortunately, and th eman reversing doesnt appear to ahve scratched it, its chucking it with rain so i cant see if the pole merely left blue paint on thew car or if it scratched it....i cba to worry about it either. if its scratched its scratched.

i am very very tempted by a nap, but alas if i do that ill be up half the night instead. and i just said id give my friend a lift to work.

Are you resident taxi driver pcl?? ;)

I should go get dressed, preferably with a shower first, and I should definitely check what DF's up to, as he's supposed to be in the shower but it sounds rather quiet up there...I'm not at all convinced he's not gone for a nap!

I don't know if anyone else gets this- if anything presses on any of the glands/lymphs (including near by body parts when you bend/move) it makes me not only unfortable and in pain, but also makes me feel sick and emotional, like straight away.
Yep, I know that feeling well.

He didn't even give me antibiotics, but told me to ask my dentist who would either give them to me or ask my doctor to.....so then why couldn't he give them me there and then?! When I saw my dentist last they deferred responsiblily of giving antibiotics to my GP and now my GP's giving it back to the dentist. This is ridiculous!
Makes me feel like trying to deal with any of it is just an exercise in futility! It's so aggrivating.
:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:Does that about sum it up? Round and round in circles.... watch it, or you'll end up disappearing up your own backside.:D

I've lost one of me legs! I finally got round to putting together a table that has been stored in the Tack Shed at Dad's for about 5 years and, after 7 odd trips to get the correct bolts to put the legs on, I've managed to lose one of them!
I took it with me to Homebase in search of the correct bolt (I now now far more about carriage bolts/hex head bolts etc that I ever wanted to know) and I wonder if I left it there. Am trying to get up courage to phone them ans say did I leave my leg there? *g*
I shouldn't be allowed out on my own really *g*
What was that song, about a million years ago?.... "Wide Eyed And Legless":D

Sharon the novelty of the reclining chair will soon wear off, then they'll stop all wanting a go in it. Til then, would you like to borrow my pointy stick? It's very good for bottom-prodding.:D

Pcl aww, rotten luck with the car. How damned annoying!

Well, today I've made tomato bread (got up at silly o'clock to switch the breadmaker on), taken Molly out for a trundle and a game of Fetch The Ball, washed some underwear as I was in danger of having to resort to woad, washed and tumbled the bedlinen, and been to Stony Stratford Market for fruit'n'veg. Also done my weekly online checks on planning applications on pubs in the area (I do this on behalf of the local CAMRA branch). Mr LW is just finishing off the ironing, hence me grabbing a quick 5 mins to come on here.:D PHEW! I'm knackered now!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

bz yeah it does seem that way, no one else i know in this town drives, which means its always me. i do say no half the time and normally only give her a lift if im going past anyway, but i needed petrol so thats another chore sorted now too. btw the whole reason i went swimming this morning was because then i would have to get in the shower and wash the hair, and its much nicer for some reason to shower at the gym.

lw have lots of fun with molly, try not to overdo it this weekend? does the breadmaker not have a timer so it can be set the night before?

I'm like that too, but that's coz I worry about the water bill - it's so expenny in this part of the country that even on my own, the water bill (metered) can be £75 even though I'm frugal!:confused:

I've been on a baking blitz. Have made Lemon Drizzle Muffins, Carrot cake Muffins and Banana and Peanut Butter bread - freezer is now almost full so I really think I should eat one of the muffins in case it doesn't fit :D

bz I've been biting my lip but - pees orff :D

I've seen those - in fact I have a couple - those plug timers, that you can use for lamps while you're away etc? (I used to have it plugged into the timer all the time cos it was too much of a ballache to turn it on myself! :rotfl:) They're not expenny?
