 short and sweet as i'm doing this on my (new) phone from in bed. Why is it i still haven't remembered that if i don't want to be up all night, when i have anything like a fever, i should take some paracetamol?! Sigh. Hoping it kicks in soon and i get some sleep soon. I'm goin into manchester tomorrow (with t'other bride) lookin for underwear for the big day, so wish me luck! I could do with all the sleep i can get, esp as DF won't be there to push me in a chair and t'other bride has a broken wrist!

Oooh. You know you can borrow a motorised scooter from the Shopmobility place in the Arndale for free, right? Do you want to meet up for a drink when you need to take a break? I have to go into town Friday and Saturday, too... (Don't know which you meant as it was past 3am when you posted?)

that poor bride is having really bad luck, broken wrist, ruined wedding dress, please tell me a third bad thing has already happened to her? good luck with the shopping today, hope you did manage some sleep last night. thats a great idea od tria's about the motorized scooter, and meeting up if you can manage to arrange it.

sue hope ou had another good, or better night. kids are exhausting under any circumstances but the bring such joy its worth it isnt it? how old is gd again?

i decided to postpone going ot my sisters, ill go down through the week for a few days instead either next week or the week after. decided it would be too much hassle to bring the cats and watch whitney be jumped on by cats twice her weight.

:j:j:jMolly's coming this evening. Mr LW had a quick phone call from his pal (Molly's "dad") to say they'll be here around 19:00.

Sharon I hope you're feeling a bit better in yourself.

Suep Rest and recover! I must admit, I'd find littl'uns too much to cope with. Look at it this way - as she gets a little older, she'll be able to do little things to help Grandma, and she'll probably enjoy it, too.

Unity I hope you're having a better day - you've had such a lot of pain lately.

BZ have fun with your shopping trip. Probably wasting my breath here, but try not to overdo it!

    :hello: to everyone else.

Back later- I fell alseep on the sofa again this morning and had the most awful, horrible dream, and I'm still feeling a bit.... I dunno how to put it, iykwim, but I need a bit of recovery time.

  • lw I've always called that feeling you get after a horrible dream an "emotional hangover" - you know when you just can't shake that uneasy feeling.
Can we expect any piccies of Molly? Hope youhave a wonderful time together.

I can't get my brain staright on what's been happening to people, so just hope all is as well as can be with everyone.

bz Other B2B has had some awful luck, poor thing. Hope it all improves for her and that you both find what you want when you're shopping today.

I overslept this morning so need to get a shift on now.

I did mean today. I'm not sure about the motorised scooter thing. I know I can manouevre a wheelchair in relatively tight spaces, but with a scooter I'd be a tad on edge I think that I'd end up stuck in an unending to-and-fro like on Austin Powers! :rotfl:(See below for why I ain't there)

She was ill last week -either with oinkers (mild) or flu. Does that count as the 3rd thing? I think I got to sleep about 3:30am and the postie woke me up banging on the door about 10:15 this mornin. Got another one of DF's (late) bday pressies now, and finally got the parcel from Auntie Axe ;)
Not goin shopping today as B2B's mother and sister got in on the action and bed was more appealing that that ;) I think they're looking for potential dress alternatives (she bought the one we went to see last night, but apparently nana doesn't think it's weddingy enough ) and shoes - where as we were originally going for underwear, so as I wasn't feeling well (and I'm knackered) and I have the GP appt at 4.30pm I decided we could go Monday instead.

Can't overdo it if I'm not going anywhere ;)

I'll let you repeat that on Monday ;)

  • bz At last it arrived! Got lost in the post for about 3 weeks and then was returned to me for those who don't know the saga.

lw Hope Molly helps you shake the feelings.

It's only 2 weeks 'til I go to the Scillys again! Am taking s/e with me this time - she doesn't like holidaying on her own so hasn't been away for years. There's plenty of bits of coast I can chuck her off if she narks me *g*
