lw I hope you have a good time with Molly dog, cant wait to see the pics, did I ever send in any of Diamond ? I think I had problems with photobox but I can try again
Enjoy the earrings...can't be bad!pcl, I'm still here chuck and I'm fine thanks. Just haven't felt very chatty and had nothing to contribute to be fair.bz, How'd the doc's go?
Makes me feel like trying to deal with any of it is just an exercise in futility! It's so aggrivating."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
sue Pleased that book got there quickly. As far as I know it's the last one that's been published, but will check on Amazon to make sure. I'll get my arris in gear next week and get some more off to you.
kass Nice to see you back - did you get the car sorted?
bz I hope you told the doc about all the tooing and froing between him and dentist? I think when you get tooth (and tonsils *g*) sorted out you will get fewer low grade infections. Trust me - I'm an Auntie Axe!
s/e does fill her life somewhat and I think she just can't fit this thread in at the moment. I know she thinks of you all often though.
I've lost one of me legs! I finally got round to putting together a table that has been stored in the Tack Shed at Dad's for about 5 years and, after 7 odd trips to get the correct bolts to put the legs on, I've managed to lose one of them!
I took it with me to Homebase in search of the correct bolt (I now now far more about carriage bolts/hex head bolts etc that I ever wanted to know) and I wonder if I left it there. Am trying to get up courage to phone them ans say did I leave my leg there? *g*
I shouldn't be allowed out on my own really *g*
I'm starting on a little of a downer, and I think it's after the high of moving and now the frustration of trying to get the place straight. This awful, consistently wet weather doesn't help much either. Need to make sure I stay busy and active and that I feel I achieve sommat.
Have to look after/watch over Dad next week as his wife is off to USA to see one of her sons - he's been losing weight and hasn't been feeling so well - they can't get the level of Warfarin right for him - I think it's a bit like Thyroxin in taking a while to get it OK. He's not a patient man at all about health things, hates getting old and all the things that come with it and anyone who says the apple doesn't fall far from the tree may be a risk of physical injury *g*I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

If you remember back few months l "had a friend" with leaky bladder problem-well today "she" went to another hospital and seems its all connected to the fibro causing bladder sensitivity and nasty cystitis etc.She has now got to take a new medication and also start an indefinate low dose of antibiotic course and she should improve.she will no doubt keep me informed!!!!!!
my steroids for a month is exhausting family-son described me yesterday as a transyvanian devil-not too nice l presume!!!!!!!
My reclining chair came yesterday and is really helping-but everyones trying to claim it for a go!

Suep, homeschooling is surprisingly simple, at the moment with my children, because of their age its about providing information etc, making sure they have want they want/need available and they do all the work. Me 5 year old taught herself to write believe it or not, we just have to help her fine tune it.
A lot of folks with children who have special needs homeschool. There are loads of places to get support and info. There are home schooling groups in most areas for socialisation, trips etc.
I am assuming she is in the UK so it would be worth checking out places like yahoo groups, education otherwise which can provide a lot about home schooling and the legal bits for instance, if her son is registered in school he will have to be deregistered etc etc, just googling home education comes up with all sorts of stuff. There are some forums with home schooling sections like mothering.com which is a fairly crunchy place and mostly american members BUT I know quite a few have SN children so could be good support.
I find that homeschooling fits in with my health needs as well ie:
I am pointless in the mornings, no school runs is an enormous help!
We can school whenever, so, I have a bad week, we just don't do too much but we can do stuff through out the usual school holidays instead.
Not having great mornings means we just do more stuff in the afternoons and mornings is mostly play, DVD, computer, art crafty time.
Anything and everything can become an education, we watch a DVD like Ice Age and it encourages us to look into that period of history, cooking, gardening, shopping etc all become educational but in a way where you don't even notice it and kids are sponges anyway.
There are any types of home schooling it would seem, we just seem to follow child led but we may get a bit more formal in the next couple of years. We prefer the european way of informal stuff until age 6/7.

sue moan away if it helps deal with the aches and pains
bet she is adorable in her apron. its great the way you do so much with them despite the discomfort, they have a wonderful granny.
bz how annoying of the gp, auntie axe is right though, once its all sorted you will feel so much better and have far less infections. it shouldnt be so difficult to get somoene to sort it though.
sharon make the most of them until sunday0 -

sue Absolutely ditto to what pcl said - I love the way you are with your g/c.
sharon Way to go with the chair! Hope you have a good weekend.
What dosage of steroids are you on?
bz Morning, girl. If the weather stays dry, I'll try to do some bits in the gaden and I have some over-ripe bananas, so I may make some banana bread - one of my favourite things.

What are you up to?And I don't understand the fascination with bananas, or banana products...but fill yer boots
I've been woken up by the plumber - or rather the dogs barking like mad because the plumber knocked on the door (9.10am! Not even a human time!) - who is here to finally do those plugs that haven't worked since I moved in, and flush out the two radiators downstairs that weren't working properly when the heating was on, cos there was too much gunk in them. Nowt like waiting 6 months tho eh?
While he's here I'm on the puter making use of my 24months of free (legal) music downloading that came as part of my rather ace new mobile deal (Nokia 5800, bluetooth headset, free music downloading for 24months, 600 anytime/network mins per month, unlimited texts per month, 80mb of internet access per month (bearing in mind it also has wifi to connect to home/out and about networks) - all for just £20 a month, which is £5 less than I was paying last year for much less!:D). I'm gonna dl a load of the stuff that we need for the wedding playlists too as the quality should be better than the stuff we currently have, and some of the tracks we don't have at all.
When plumber guy's gone we're allegedly going wedding shopping (need canvas and markers to do "guestbook" canvas, shirt/shoes/belt for groomsmen, paper for the order of service inserts, disposable cameras for the "Camera Challenge", non-alcoholic wine for dad, gift for videographer (altho might just give him money) etc). DF's back in work at the hotel at 5pm tho and we need feeding and showering and there's a problem with the radiator in the living room that apparently isn't just a flush problem . So I've no idea how long this is gonna take..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
bz thats an excellent deal, what phone company?
cwta i love banana bread, but i hate mashing the bananas to make it. enjoy
yesterday, or the day before, some idiot reversed into my car, said he couldnt see out the back windscreen because of the rain. today i have managed to hit a stupid pole somehow or other. now i guess i need a third hitting of the car.....
attenmpted to go swimming this morning, but was too late so did the aqua aerobics instead. my arms feel like ive been working with weights, deff much prefer the more relaxed class i normally do. id be quite relieved if it was bedtime now.0 -
bz You just won't let it go will you!
At least I'm not getting a plumber to sort out plugs - dontcha need an electrician? *g*
pcl What a flamin' nuisance. Horrid when things happen with a car ain't it - even worse when it's your own fault! I hope the third thing is something as simple as a Seagull or other creature of the winger variety pooping on it.
Why don't you have a nap with Witney?I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
